Your boy is adorable, this video nearly brought a tear to my eye! He's so well versed that he even knows the original name of Murder City. He has an incredible memory at 3.

My son is only 7 weeks old, but Green Day is something I plan to introduce him to early on. My hope is that someday I can pass the record collection on to him.

I haven't personally met any kids who like Green Day, but once when my niece was over she kept pointing at Billie in my GD posters. I think that's a good sign ;)

You know whats Krazzzee... My 3 year old boy is not just naming the songs now but he is able to tell me the album it is from and he gets the track number right most of the time. I have to get this on video soon!!!!

Man, your kid is brilliant!! And I'd love to see that :D

Two of my kids love Green day, I have been to quite a few shows with my daughter.

My dad used to turn Green Day on for me since I remember - firstly because ( when I was little ) I stopped crying and secondly because he just liked ( ans still likes ) them. So I grew up with Green Day somehow

Well, I got into Green Day when I was about 5 or 6 when American Idiot came out (yeah not even kidding I was quite young when I first got into music). My dad had made some kind of a mix CD to put on my xbox and I was playing Burnout, and quite coincidentally the song Burnout was playing. I don't know why I remember this but that was my favourite game (until i got battlefront) growing up and I just remember the coincidence and thinking that it was a song written for the game or something. And it was only a few weeks after that that American Idiot came out and I just fell in love with it. Obviously I didn't know what the hell Billie was wailing about but I still liked it. And honestly, without being constantly exposed to their music as a kid I think I'd be a totally different person now. So I think it's great. I think (especially with Green Day) it helps kids grow up listening to something worthwhile and with a solid, powerful message behind it so at the age that they can understand just what the music is actually about, they turn into someone that isn't just following the crowd of sheep that do as they're told no questions asked.

I started filming another video with 71 Green Day songs but my little one gets distracted after every 15 songs lol....

My kids will be listening to Green Day from the day they are born. Any shitty pop music will be a banned in my house.

Shitty music is banned from my house too. One son is a guitarist, one is bassist and I sing (unfortunately, but what can you do?). We play Green Day songs all the time, with a few others thrown in. Our house is awesome!!! I work in a school and, sadly, in three consecutive classes I had the same conversation again and again about how they love One Direction and nothing else in the world matters. This is mainly girls aged 11-14. Happily, the 15 year olds upwards and especially the boys loathe 1D and listen to proper music. There aren't many who have heard of Green Day though, apart from my son's friends. Shame.

I was at Reading and my family were watching it on tv, including my nephews, 7 and 11. I met them on the train the next day as we were off on holiday and they both piped up all "yeah we love green day now! We like let yourself go!" It was a proud moment lol

when i do have kids, i promise to pass my fangirling obsession onto them.

I'm still a kid, so I'll just say I've been listening to Green Day since I was five.

Was Green Day introduced to you by a family member?

Sort of. I heard WMUWSE on the radio, and I loved the song. My dad so happened to have several Green Day CDs so he let me have a listen.
