Guest Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Is that video on Youtube, do you have the link? it is on youtube, i found it on one of my evenings just watching every video that popped up in the suggestions bar that related to GD, no idea where to find it though sorry
Hermione Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Don't let anybody bring you down. Hope you're OK. There's millions of people out there who think you're funny, don't let one h8rz opinion get to you Stop spamming. Believe it or not most people click on threads because they want to read posts about the topic of them, not because they want to read tiresome spam from the same old people.
UnoDosTreCuatro Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Green Day has so many dedicated fans, and this reflects that.
JOE THE X-KID Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Playing Armatage Shanks in just jeans and t shirt at the 1995 vmas (might have been 94?) sadly there's not a decent quality video of it on YouTube anymore
Vic_Rattlehead Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 That show they did at Goat Island http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HaHrpy7NYi0
Iva Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Most awesome? Picking my city to play Dookie for the first time, impromptu. Not valuing only what's big, payable and known, but figuring out who never had the chance to do what most did during the 90s. Incredible. Oh, and supporting so many great causes. Love the thread, btw.
Tubbie Head Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Just The Foxboro Hot Tubs No need to explain. I just think it's the most awesome thing they've ever done! I can't think of anything else at the moment... Maybe the acoustic encores, where Billie would throw in older songs or unreleased songs during the 21st CBD (like Drama Queen and Minnesota Girl).
jacknovella Posted September 8, 2013 Posted September 8, 2013 Signing to a major label. If they hadn't, millions of fans including myself wouldn't have heard the amazing music they make and grow to love them like I have
peppermint butler Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=gwF6_xTvSNI hybrid fucking moments
belinda jane Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 the most awesome thing the band has ever done was make the decision to bring fans up on stage to sing Longview. so many people now have such amazing memories from this, including myself, and will never forget that moment.
She is Amanda Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBE6YrHUc6c This one. Boulevard of Broken Dreams at the Fox Theater. It was their first show back from rehab. Billie changed the lyrics from "Check my vital signs, to know I'm Still alive" to "OH MY GOD I'M STILL ALIVE." Being at this show, when Billie said that, it came as a HUGE surprise. I mean you can hear it, everyone cheered after that. We were all so proud.
R_Z-Log Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I can't say one thing that would be "the most awesome" thing they've ever done, but I just think the way they treat their fans in general makes them the most awesome band on the planet. I constantly see pictures on Instagram (and on here) of them with people that see them out in public. I'm sure that's annoying as hell, but it *seems* like they are usually very willing to stop for a picture, or autograph, etc... Plus, Mike answers people on Instagram A LOT which is really cool. And of course their live shows. I mean, I've been to a few and I swear every time they really do make an effort to make the fans feel appreciated, and you can tell they just want to put on the best show EVER because that's why WE are there. Not because that's why THEY are there. I'm sure it's both, but like I said, they really make an effort to make sure that we feel like we are the priority. I hope that made sense!

Probably saw it when it happened but would love to see it again. Video proof is definitely needed.

Jollyroger118 Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 Maybe just American Idiot. That album is one of the best ever made and they like took the world by storm with it. After ten years of people constantly thinking they were past their prime. And it's my favorite album from them (and subsequently of all time) !
Pineapple Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I don't know if this is really a thing but one of my favourite things about Green Day is how much they involve the audience and their fans in every show. Billie goes out of his way to make sure people get pulled up and have a chance to be with their idol, idk I just think its beautiful the love that we have for them and how its shown that they feel the same.
MaraGreenDay Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 it is on youtube, i found it on one of my evenings just watching every video that popped up in the suggestions bar that related to GD, no idea where to find it though sorry Ok, thanks anyway!
peppermint butler Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 How do you download files to your phone from mega
Zelda Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 How do you download files to your phone from mega If you mean MegaUpload, that site's gone. Regardless I don't think you can even download anyhthing straight to your phone. Download it to your computer and then add it to your phone like you would music.
