They owe me a fucking show!

I was supposed to see them on their last tour, but with Billie Joe going to rehab and everything, they postponed, and then a month later, they CANCELLED.

I woke up one morning to $475 in my bank account (there was 4 of us going..) and while it was nice to have all that extra cash (i really needed it at the time) - I was so upset. I wanted to see my boys, dammit!

So yeah, Please do another US tour!

and as far as a new album.. as long as it's better than their 'Trilogy', i'll be happy. Was not impressed with those albums at all.

As long as they keep making great music, that's fine with me. Logistically, there are always fans not going to be able to see them, even when they do tour, and you can't expect them to play everywhere in each country that they do go to. Obviously I would have liked to see them again on this tour, but I think myself lucky to have even seen them at all (Scotland 2009/2010), as I know there are people that haven't. I would think that they did not want to over do things too much (after the re-hab), and have tried to do the best they could, without committing to a "full blown world tour". I am assuming nowadays that touring is the main earner for bands (after song royalties), as opposed to cd/download sales, and possibly the record companies too. Let's hope they get some well earned rest, and keep writing/recording more masterpieces !!!

I think they'll release a a special edition of Dookie with a live video. I think we have a good amount of facts to support that.

A full tour for Dookie and AI? Eh I doubt it. There's really no need to. It would just be living in the past and beating a dead horse eventually. It's not as cool if they play Dookie in full 100 times instead of just a handful. I don't see a tour coming. Additionally, Green Day just went through a traumatic experience. They virtually disappeared for half a year and the albums they were so proud of flopped because of that. Their small US tour didn't even sell out, so why would another tour randomly a year after the fact do any better?

I think we'll see a new album next. Hopefully something groundbreaking because I think Green Day will find motivation in their failures. The "screw this lets just do something different and take a chance" attitude has been with them for 20 years.
