yeah jason messes up great solos very often...

the setlist and everything aside:

Blondie opened for Green Day for the concert and fundraising gala, which benefited the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Oakland. But earlier Tuesday, Dreamforce attendees were greeted by members of Unite Here Local 2 protesting Salesforce.com’s use of AT&T Park concessions manager Centerplate for the event.

At one point, the protesters held a sign (shown above in a tweet posted by a union researcher) that read, “Dreamforce: A nightmare for workers,” on the pedestrian bridge over Howard Street above the temporary plaza created for the conference, which has more than 135,000 registrants.

The union has been involved in a long labor dispute with Centerplate, the South Carolina firm that manages concessions at the home of baseball’s San Francisco Giants. The union says Centerplate has not given concessions workers a raise since 2009. About 700 concessions workers staged a one-day strike at a Giants game in May.

In an open letter to Benioff, the union protested Salesforce’s use of Centerplate to cater the Tuesday night gala

“We are deeply disappointed that Salesforce is choosing to violate our boycott by holding the Dreamforce Gala at AT&T Park and using Centerplate catering in its luxury suite,” the letter said. “This is a moment for you and Salesforce to decide what kind of San Franciscans you want to be. Will you side with the hard-working men and women who form the backbone of this city’s largest industry? Or will you side with the bad corporate actors who are driving down the standard for workers? Will you respect the voices of working people? Or will you walk past our picket lines? We hope you will choose to be better neighbors.”

I'm sorry if I'm stupid for not knowing this but what does the word "audible" mean next to certain songs on the setlist that they make?

looks like the best Green Day show in years.

It means that Billie has some "built-in" options to change/audible the song based on the crowd, his mood, etc.

Not that I ever thought they were, but this pretty much goes to show they don't lip sync.

Rain didn't stop us! TY to all for supporting us at Salesforce #df13 with a special thank you to @GreenDay for going unplugged. The concert last night at AT&T Park, benefitting our hospital and UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, was truly an experience. Our patients, their families, and our supporters enjoyed rocking out with Green Day, Blondie & MC Hammer--and with all of the Dreamforce attendees!

Pictured: Bert Lubin, MD, President & CEO of Children's Hospital Oakland--along with other Children's Oakland supporters--meet with Green Day backstage.
