I don't care what anyone says, these albums are THE BEST GREEN DAY ALBUMS SINCE WARNING. Better than American Idiot and MUCH better than 21CB. I love all 3 and still listen to each about once every other week or so. The "critics" can go f themselves!

I think it has partially something to do with the fact that people want to give their opinion, when I first heared the albums I felt like "WTF is this?!" just because I wasn't used to the sound of Green Day as it is on these records. Although I just forced myself into listening to mainly ¡Uno! (still my least favorite of the 3) and now I can pick out a few songs I really like and which even started to climb up my personally top 10 favorite Green Day songs. Yet I agree with everyone, it's something different, something which was not yet Green Dayish. But Green Day made it, so it is atleast Green Dayish now. I'd say we have to deal with it, they can't turn it back it's happend and even if you dislike or even hate the tracks you can't do much about it existing.

I like the the trilogy but Green Day would have been much better off picking maybe like 15 songs are so and making them a bit better and then releasing it as one album. The songs weren't bad and I still like them but they lack passion and energy and alot of them sound like filler. Uno and Dos sound like 50% solid songs that weren't quite actualized and 50% bonus tracks. "Nightlife" was an interesting concept but Lady Cobra (the rapper, not the song) is awful and that song is the worst thing Green Day could possibly make. Tre was pretty good for the most part. The lyrics throughout most the the trilogy sucked.

Having said there were lots of good moments throughout the three albums.

Edit: also guitar tones were too thin.

My thought on the trilogy is there are some good songs and there are some of green days best music. I think the guitar tone is great and a different approach, the bass is also amazing because it sticks out more, and yeah tres drum may be a little compressed as everyone's saying but you have to do that and I think it still sounds good. My only complaint with the trilogy is unlike all the other albums I feel like I have to skip past more songs than I normally do. Like on American idiot I usually skip extraordinary girl, or 21stCB I skip past know your enemy. But when it comes to the trilogy I skip through more than half of them.

I say if they got rid of these songs the experience of listening to the trilogy would of been more exciting and making me want more (even if they are somewhat good or have there moments I would still live without them) :

Angle blue

Oh love (best part is the guitar tone)

See you tonight

Wild one ( it just goes on and on and on...)

Ashley

Baby eyes

Lady cobra

Nightlife(love the song but doesn't seem to fit)

Wow! that's loud! (Wow! There's more feedback then song!)

8th avenue serenade

Little boy named train

Idk if anyone feels the same but doesn't it seem like a lot of songs were just thrown in because they could? Then again like I said there's a lot of gems in the trilogy to.

Bad songs *

As they might be the "worst" by Green Day, I think they are still great. especially Uno and Tre.
