Went to the A's game yesterday for Green Day night. Got Billie Joe and Tre Cools autograph. These dudes are the reason that DID is a band!

I wonder if Billie is going to sing Take Me Out To The Ball Game like he did a few years ago.

I was hoping he would! During the song I also heard some girl behind me like "Aww, Billie isn't singing it this time?"

They were playing Green Day songs in between some of the innings. The Oakland A's actually ran onto the field at the beginning of the game to "Welcome To Paradise"! Right after the A's scored one of their runs, they played "Burnout".

I loved it when they kept playing their songs in between innings! It made the game more fun. At one point they played "Having a Blast"

They looked adorable Especially Billie, his jersey was kinda long so it made him look even shorter lol

We were able to see Billie Joe sitting up top from where we sat during the game. Before the fireworks started he spoke about everybody coming out to support the Oakland children's hospital and Green Day with the A's.

You were able to see where they sat? Nice! I was looking but couldn't find them. Yeah that little video they played of him talking before the fireworks was cute

My friend and I each got the hat. He said he might not want to keep his (He's not a GD fan, lame! And he already has a bunch of A's hats). I'll ask if he wants to sell it

Who are the two boys next to Billie and Tre? My seats were pretty far away so I couldn't tell. At first I thought one of them could've been Jakob, but now that I've seen close up pictures I know it's definitely not. Maybe Frankito?

Aw looks like it was a great night! The fireworks with the music playing Amazing!

The fireworks show was amazing! I took some pictures and a couple short videos of it, but you guys already saw the whole show from the video someone posted earlier. The songs that played during it were: Welcome to Paradise, 21 Guns, Warning, Stray Heart, Oh Love, 99 Revs, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, and the finale was Holiday. Their choice of songs were pretty good in my opinion I was excited that they added some trilogy stuff too! Although I heard some guy near me say "What the hell is this? I don't wanna hear their new stuff, they should play more old stuff!" Ugh

By that, you made me realize only now that my dad is kind of an exception here. He's going to become 51 soon and just got his first gray hairs

I love how the gray hairs make Billie look all rough Still I think it's funny and astonishing that he looks absolutely young nonetheless!

We had a fun trip besides seeing the A's. We also went site seeing and went to Rudy's can't fail, I also walked passed the Fox theater. We enjoyed hopping on the BART to San Francisco too. On the last day we drove out to Pinole Valley High school as well.. The seven hour plane ride was well worth it. This was so special. It was very cool seeing Green Day on the field interacting with my favorite team. And the fireworks just made it feel more special.

Looking at the above pic I just noticed Tre is lying on the ground next to Frankito (Where Billie is looking down would be his head haha)...spotted his tattoo on his leg! Picture is like Where's Waldo of Green Day band members

They were in the suites nearby. you can come and go as you like and they met Billie Joe outside of his walking around.
