The Governator Posted May 28, 2013 Author Posted May 28, 2013 May be a cliché, but I would choose American Idiot. Also, is BIAB an option? Uh...I guess that could be an option. I'm suprised no one has said International Superhits. haha.
DookieLukie Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Can people explain why they want to hear AI in its entirety? Like seriously. We always hear literally half the album every show of every tour. AI, JOS, Holiday, BOBD, St. Jimmy, Letterbomb, and WMUWSE are regulars on the setlist, and sometimes they sprinkle in stuff like Are We the Waiting, Homecoming, and Give me Novocaine. That's basically the whole album right there. If you've ever been to more than one show since AI came out, chances are you've heard everything on it. Yeah as much as I love AI, I've heard the songs so many times live. Plus, it's on Youtube being played in full so I can relive it whenever I want.
The Grouch is Tracy Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Insomniac or Nimrod for sure, if Billie can remember the words! Ha ha.......
J&TheNight Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 21st Century Breakdown definitely. It's "the" album for me in general, not just from green day. I've felt for a long time that those songs didn't get enough play.
*dry_ice* Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Warning, 1039 or Nimrod... but also the full dookie will be great
Shredder2 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I always thought Nimrod would be an interesting album to play live. It shows the many personalities of Green Day to me. You have the aggressive tunes like "Take Back" and "Platypus (I Hate You)". Then you have the more amusing tracks like "King for a Day" and the sentimental classic "Time of Your Life." It all adds up to a killer live performance! I feel like I'm missing something.
Spoopy Doo Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Just one? Hmm.... This will take some thought. *insert Jeopardy music here* Warning:, because most people I know of that "like" Green Day only know "Minority," if anything, from it. Also, I'd kill to hear "Blood, Sex and Booze" and "Misery" live. Now that I think of it, has "Misery" ever been performed?

SEAtacticsFTW Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I would say Cigarrettes and Valentines not being very serious. Insomniac, because it is the most underrated album. I would kill many kittens just to see Panic Song and Westbound Sign.
Eva Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Oh my God, this is the hardest question ever. I honestly can't pick. I've narrowed it down to American Idiot, Insomniac, and possibly Kerplunk. I can't decide.
Overjoyyed Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 OMG they played dookie in its entirely!!?? Yesterday??
Undómiel Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Insomniac fo sure... just because it's effing awesome.
Strayheart1219 Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 I think if green day played 1039 or kerplunk from front to back as a surprise I think I would take my clothes off and run around the block naked. And if I was actually there at that concert I think I would cry my eyes out.
NowhereBound Posted May 28, 2013 Posted May 28, 2013 Nimrod or Insomniac for sure because they are my favorites. That's about all the explanation I'm going to delve into.
Slave To The Network Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 I would love for them to do 21st Century Breakdown in its entirety! It's not my favorite album of theirs, but they've never played ever song on it and certainly not in order with the album's story. I think it would be great if they did that. My second choice would be American Idiot because it's my favorite, I love the story. I know they have played the whole thing before, but I'd like it if they did that again and this time include B-sides like Too Much Too Soon, Favorite Son, Shoplifter, and Governator. Then it really would be complete!

Slave To The Network Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 They've performed 21st complete 4-5 times I have never heard or seen footage of them playing Peacemaker, Horseshoes and Handgrenades, or Restless Heart Syndrome.
