I fucking died when he sang that song and put his hand over his mouth during the last part. It was a weird live but I loved it, so nice to see them just hanging out and goofing around  #shutupgreg

That one leg over my shoulder bit is from the Cheech and Chong film Still Smokin' , haha.

(It's towards the end of the video at the 3:43 mark)

Thought you guys would like to know that Strychnine has been banned so we won't need to worry about them causing trouble here any more. We don't need a whole discussion about it or anything but just thought you'd appreciate the info :P

Your story kept me out of breath!

I hope Billie will be given your gift :rose: (Mike wouldn't have let it go in the garbage !?) and that you'll catch up on lost sleep.

What was with the crowd?

Well, I don't remember exactly what Mike responded to me because 1- I couldn't belive it I was in front of Mike Dirnt and 2- I guess I caught him offguard with my question to give a gift to Billie. He kind of said something like he couldn't, but he pointed his bodyguard and said I could give it to him. I don't trust bodyguard and security crew when it comes down to give a gift. Most of them get rib of the gifts instead of giving them to the good person.

@IcyMoffatt same question here about the crowd, were they not into it?

Talk about a near miss! I thought I had a near miss just by having been in Toronto a week before these guys (seeing the pictures of them hanging out in Kensington Market now made me grrrrrrr) but you were actually within earshot!

Yes! If it wouldn't have started raining like crazy, maybe we would have met Billie Joe. Who knows!

And to answer both of you, well, the crowd was into the concert in general. But, I have been to many concerts (not just Green Day) in different venues and I never saw so many people leaving the crowd to mostly get drinks/food and come back multiple times. One or two times for one person, it's okay. But just in my row, I probably had to let people pass like 50 to 60 times and those people represented half the row. And from what I could see, it was the same problem in the other rows. That was very annoying. I guess the Budweiser Stage made a million dollars just selling drinks and food that night.

That is annoying. I was at a show like that once (I forget who we saw) but a guy kept walking in and out every few minutes in our row. Pain in the ass when you're trying to get into what you're watching. And I tend to really focus and block out everything else around me.

Usually you see stuff like that during openers. Last time I was at the venue where I'm seeing them tomorrow (Blossom) it was to see Elvis Costello open for Steely Dan. I was the lone fan in the front section with an Elvis tee rocking out. Most people were still milling around outside the pavilion was 80% empty. He kept looking at me and smiling. 😊

(He doesn't know the half of what a trooper I was that night. I felt like crap and the next morning we drove to the ER and I had my appendix out. Ain't nothing was gonna make me miss Elvis though)

I remember seeing it for the first time maybe a couple of months ago, but yeah it's from this year at least. Such a pretty smile

Omg, just back from holiday where we had awful wifi connection problems and very little spare time - so much loveliness/craziness to catch up on but made it on this one thread.  Thank you all for posting so much stuff I would have missed otherwise.  Keep up with the craziness.:D

Understandably she's charging a lot for them but they're adorable. Love the little 🎸.

Yeah not sure I would actually buy them at that price but they are adorable and the guitar is fab

Those dolls are so cute!  My cousin knits and a while back she found a booklet for CBGB knit dolls patterns.  I told her if she loved me she would make me the Joey Ramone one.  Apparently she doesn't love me because I never got one.  But I would think she could adjust the pattern to make Billie.  Hmmmm

I had the same problem with couple  that was beside us. they kept leaving  for god knows why... not for food or anything maybe drinks. it was so annoying. we had our merch bags at our feet and kept having to move them.. why would you leave during a band you paid to see..  i cant fathom even leaving to use the washroom during a movie let alone a concert..

Haha! You sound like me. The guys don't know what a trooper I will be tomorrow at Blossom (hiiii) because it hurts so bad to walk and I'll be having surgery Friday to evict this baby from her little apartment 😜 Sorta hoping all the excitement of the show will make her decide to surprise us all with an early entrance even sooner!

Wow that would make for an exciting show. If you get pulled up onstage to sing maybe Billie can deliver the baby. 😜 He did bring a pregnant girl onstage this tour have you seen that clip?

Best of luck and enjoy the show 🙂

HA no I didn't see that! Does someone have a clip/know which city? Someone told me to wear a "baby's first gd show" shirt to try to get on stage. I don't know that I would want to be on stage though, pregnant or not 😝 Are you in the pit? I have pavilion seats and I'm sorta sad about it, but I know it's the only way. It might be nice to sit back and fangirl at a leisurely pace for once, as opposed to always fighting to stand upright in the pit while enjoying the show at the same time 😬 I'm also sad the venue has no access to the tour buses! Watching them leave and getting disappointed I never get to meet them has become something of a tradition by now, haha

Here you go.

Billie is so cute too. "Do you have a baby in there? Wow!" And he rubs her belly 🤗

I'm dead center last row of section 13, so say hi if you see me. I'll have a RevRad shirt with Blue. I have a two hour drive to the venue so didn't want to wait on line for a pit spot, I wanted a reserved seat to not rush.

Will you be getting dropped off up front, because it's a long long walk from general parking. I agree it sucks about the tour buses. They were right outside the venue on the street when I saw them in Pittsburgh but didn't stay after, now I'm kicking myself.
