You realize that's what people who have toured with him have said right? Both his band mates and people in other bands have talked about how grimy Billie Joe is. He didn't used to brush his teeth regularly, which is probably why his mouth was always fucked up. Also back when they were younger he would not wear deodorant and probably didn't shower regularly when they were on tour so I imagine the man didn't smell pleasant most of the time. 

He's also known for having the worst gas in the band.
