Is it The Desperate Mind?

Yes  Nothing wrong with it really, it's just that I think that when you have your own cool punk band, you don't need to look like someone else. However, being so much like Billie can actually be helping a lot because more people are likely to check them out thanks to seeing pictures or at festivals.

Tre might be 5'6, I don't think there's that much in it between him and Billie, but yeah I think that must be about right. They're a generally short band but it's nothing that extreme.

Edit: Lol look at this

Lol Billie is cheating wearing those creepers

Billie knows how to get attention

He sure does! He has a lot of charisma on stage, and, yet, he pretends to be very shy in real life. Oh! well... some people are like him, others are the opposite way. Anyway, because of all the charisma Bilie has on a stage, french medias always used the expression «la bête de scène» to describe him (translation: «the stage's beast»). It suites him very well. I wish I had half of his courage to go on a stage in front of a big crowd.

As the Hyde Park show is one of the biggest during this tour I hope we have a Facebook Live to fangirl over (doubt it though :ermm:

I don't have any ink but if I did I thought the AI hand grenade logo would be a cool one. Maybe it's "album art" but you see it and immediately think Green Day like they intended.

I guess it comes down to is the tattoo for you as a fan, or so other people can recognize you as a fan. My first tattoo was of the HWY 1 design Billie was seen wearing on a shirt at a festival in a creeper video. I love it because it's both a Green Day tattoo but also personal because I'm from California. I haven't had a single Green Day fan that I've met at shows be able to recognize where it came from which I think is kind of cool.

^ He looks so good in that pic. I don't usually like his hair that long, but it looks really nice there. His eyeliner is on point too.

Trying not to get too pissed off about the #billyjoel  :fuckyou:

I second this. Not a long hair, eyeliner person here but he looks fantastic in this.

He looks amazing. I can't wait til we get some video footage of Hyde Park to drool over. I'm praying for some pro-shot footage, but I doubt that'll happen. :(

Yeah, I just don't understand how Green Day's otherwise dreadful promotion team was able to actually generate some hype and excitement around Hyde Park, when they then make absolutely no f***ing use of it? Why would you let such a great opportunity go to waste?

Exactly. It's the perfect show to record professionally and release it for promotion, but their team don't seem to realise that.

No one knows...no one knows. It seems the promo team sort of wakes up from time to time, does something and then goes back to the slumber, exhaused by the hard work. E.g. SB video, AMAs, now Hyde Park. I don't understand why do they keep paying such team.

Let's have a couple of nice photos I found to cheer us up

OMG! There is a video took by a fan during the Hyde Park concert and Billie Joe is so closed to the camera... like very very closed! It's on instagram and I still have not figured out how to get the link from the video to post it here. Help?

Absolutely. Right from the start of the gig Billie is commanding the crowd. And it makes no difference how big the crowd is as he has total control of the crowd. Even when he's lying on the ground during the medley he has the crowd in the palm of his hands.

And as for Billie's height, whenever people talk about his height, I think of this encounter with Will Ferrell:

that is picture of Bill and Will make me fall in love w/Billie. I've never realize until I saw that clip from SNL, he is just so adorable and real.

Okay, I just laughed waaayyy too hard at the guard boosting Billie onstage.

That must have given him a killer wedgie. 😄

Crazy thing to notice but it looks like the bottom of Billie's right shoe has a completely worn down.

Shoot me for noticing something so ridiculous.

Wow that clip of Billie up close, I get anxiety from just listening to them calling his name constantly, can't imagine what that's like all the time tbh. Also which guy is Eddie in that clip, if he's even there, I always wonder what he looks like lol.

Eddie is the one that scooped Billie up.

He was touching his butt long before he picked him up to put him back on the stage. Those security dudes just can't get enough of that ass.

That's what I was thinking!  I didn't even notice it was Eddie at first because I was so focused on that.

Disclosure on a job application to be Billie's bodyguard- occasionally you're going to have to grab his ass and let him sit on your shoulders.

If I were taller and stronger I wouldn't hesitate to apply. :creep:
