His acting skill was way better than anything else he had done in the past. Can we have a Ordinary World part 2 plesse? This is a topic I can really get in on right now. I know I'm getting ahead of myself, but I've had thoughts lately about the end of the Rev Rad era and how to deal with that. Billie doing the AI movie or other acting projects would really ease the pain. Does anyone know if Ordinary World is considered a success? I mean it's an Indie movie, so I have no idea. If it is, then he should get more offers.

So it doesn't matter how the movie did, I'm sure it led to other offers for him, it's just a matter of picking the right one. HBO needs to get on the stick and not drag this thing out any further, it would be a great project for 2018 though I wouldn't want it to delay a new album by too much. It seems they're so happy to be focusing on GD again, I'm not sure how I feel about more side projects now. Now having said that, 2019 will be the 15th anniversary of the AI album so maybe that is a good release date for a movie.

St. Jimmy was always a bit of acting on stage which Michael Mayer saw and knew he could do it on Broadway (even if Billie didn't). But he loves a challenge and learning new things and basically worked his ass off and threw himself into learning and getting better with each role. The way to get over the fear is to overprepare and make damn sure you don't suck. One thing I find inspirational about him is that he never lets his anxiety prevent him from trying new things. For someone who gets so freaked out he's also good at stepping out of his comfort zone. I try to be more like that I think it's amazing.

Yeah, I kind of expected it to look like this considering it was so obvious he would go there And I also agree with you about Billie being an inspiration! Acting and performing on broadway probably scared him shitless but he sure didn't let that stop him from doing it.

Didn't HBO have greenlight for shooting AI? I think after all of RevRad Tour and stuff..they started production. I don't really think Billie is "old enough" to played St.Jimmy" he is still young and you know magic of Make-up!or CGI..

And...this is probably blasphemous but I'm not sure how he would play St. Jimmy in a movie. I mean "teenage assassin"? And isn't St. Jimmy supposed to be an alternate personality of JOS, so the same age? Of course I would looooove to see him but I think they would have to tweak the story a bit. I wonder if Mike or Tré would be in it.

In the musical St Jimmy was more of a separate character, a drug dealer who represents temptation and the dark side of things, and he was played by older actors (Tony Vincent and Billie in their late 30s and Melissa Etheridge aged 50), so it wouldn't necessarily have to be a teenager depending on how they interpreted the story. I'm not sure the plan is to base it on the musical anymore but there's really not a lot of detail on the album so there's a wide range of things they could do with it. Which I hope would include Billie
