angel green Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Once in Latin class my phone rang. It was Longview, the first thing that we heard was "WHEN MASTURBATION'S LOST ITS FUN " and so the teacher, instead of getting upset, says, "is that Green Day?" I went up and gave him a hug.

HARVESTER Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 I have been looking at parodies and I came across this: It is incomplete but I find it hilarious. Just wish the laughing on it wasn't there so I could hear it better. This one is awesome:

Just wish the laughing on it wasn't there so I could hear it better. This one is awesome: Funny stuff****braces herself for the herd of whiny bitches to come and respond "joking about Tourette's syndrome is not funny, my mom's neighbors sister's kid has Tourette's and its ruined his life, blah, blah, blah...***
HARVESTER Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 I am tempted to mix Milkcow Blues Boogie lyrics as sung by Elvis Presley in with "Fuck Time" lyrics....
Slave To The Network Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 If I can relate something to Green Day in any way, I will. Often if I'm bored in class or whatever my mind just wanders and then inevitably is just like "I wonder if Billie knows about this." or "Does Billie like this too?" or if it's something related to psychology/behavior/biology then I relate it to him too. Apparently I'm not the only one who does this either. I've heard from other GD fans that they do similar things.
musso_kn Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 I did my Junior Cert art project on Green Day. That's pretty damn fanthingy. I'd like a pic or at least a nice description Only then can we determine the level of fanboy-ness.

Guest Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 You can't just leave us hanging like that c-dawwwg. I'm pretty sure most of it was thrown out a long time ago. I'll see if any non-embarrassing parts of it are around

So eh, I found one of the posters I had to do. Turns out my brother has made it the centrepiece of his altar to Green Day or whatever the fuck he has going on here. So yeah.
Guest Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 when me & my sister shared a bedroom and i had the top bunk, i had tiny pictures of billie joes face bluetack onto my wall. let's say, the pictures were small enough to have 6 on an A4 page, and it filled a meter tall, 2 meter wide space. no gaps. i used a lot of ink [i printed them myself okay shut up get out]. when i was 16, i cut all my hair off to have a similar haircut like billie, bought all new clothes and dressed like him for about 2 years. considering how curvy i am, i looked ridiculous. i did all of my school projects around green day. to the point my class and teachers new exactly what i was gunna do so made fun of me for it. i plastered my art book in pictures of billies face. we were allowed to decorate them so i, again, printed out a tonne of pictures and glued them all over the front and back covers then covered it in that sticky back plastic. i hate teenage me. i currently cry about twice a day thanks to watching shows & interviews on youtube because 14 DAYS UNTIL I SEE THEM. ahem. yeah. when i bought my ticket, i cried for an hour straight. i got pretty dehydrated and a stinkin' headache.

klytaemnestra Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 Holy smokes I am probably the oldest fan girl here and by far the worst! My cubicle at work is plastered with pictures, mostly of Billie Joe, I refer to him as my baby daddy, I have a personalized Stella Artois chalice that says Mrs. Armstrong. I squeak "boyfriend" whenever I hear them on the radio or see them on tv. I am a fangirl through and through and proud of it. Don't judge me. lmao trust me, older members of this site have done much worse than that.

Hermione Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 The only times I've cried over GD were a couple of times when I'd succeeded in buying tickets to a show, the rush of getting them after waiting and forcing myself not to get my hopes up and then the stress of refreshing the page over and over was just massive and brought tears to my eyes. It's actually the only thing I've ever cried with happiness over.
Maddy. Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 okay seriously i think your draw and especially your painted hand grenade are really great!! thank you !!
