Gwen Stacy Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Well aren't we just a bunch of Dirty Rotten Bastards? Jet Taman, on 10 May 2013 - 22:41, said: Dulaney??? You're like 15 minutes from my school! Do I know you?? I think my cousin goes to your school. Her last name is Plunkett. But yeah, no, I was logged in as a teacher which helps me get on sites like YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter which I think are blocked for students, but just this week it wouldn't let me on the GDC. Also, there are proxy web browsers that can get around school blocks. Made my junior and senior years of high schools bearable.
The Grohl Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 The first thing I do when I get to work (Pine Grove Elementary School where I teach 4th grade) is check my school e-mail, then check the GDC. Then I grade papers, then check the GDC. Then I make copies, then check the GDC. Then I teach a lesson or two, then check the GDC. Then I take the kids to gym, then check the GDC. Well, you get the picture, but as of MONDAY, my school system server BLOCKED the GDC because it falls into the category of "Adult Language and Content" I'm so pissed!! I've had no problems for the last 7 years with this and now all of the sudden it gets noticed??? Does anyone know any way to get around that?? I don't want to have to dedicate 100% of my day to my students' education!!! I love how you say you don't want to dedicate 100% of your day to your students I feel like that at work, I don't want to dedicate 100% of my time to the office
HolyHandGrenade Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 I was finally able to see if VTunnel works at school, and found out it's blocked
