Ooh, that sounds ambitious. But let's not forget The Frustrators!

and the Lonely Island now too!

and the Lonely Island now too!

Lonely Island thing is only a collab and I doubt Bille has much of a part probably just a few lines in one song that is all.

Christian's Inferno

East Jesus Nowhere

Peacemaker

Murder City

Restless Heart Syndrome

Horseshoes And Handgrenades

The Static Age

American Eulogy

21st century far better. Give me 8 new songs from triology to beat the above list.

Leave it out. I'm not much a Lonely Island person.

Christian's Inferno

East Jesus Nowhere

Peacemaker

Murder City

Restless Heart Syndrome

Horseshoes And Handgrenades

The Static Age

American Eulogy

21st century far better. Give me 8 new songs from triology to beat the above list.

You're missing 21st Century Breakdown (+ Song of the Century) Before the Lobotomy and both the Viva La Glorias as the best tracks of the album. Hell, even Last of the American Girls is superior to some of the stuff on the Trilogy.

I chose "Honestly. I love it ALL equally."

I grew up with Green Day starting with Dookie when it was still new. Over the years, many of my friends lost some interest in the band stating that their earlier albums (i.e. the ones released in the 90s) are better than the newer ones. I disagree entirely. I love the early albums and can remember growing up with them. But still, I have many favorites from the newer albums:

  • American Idiot is a masterpiece. Homecoming is one of my favorite Green day songs of all time.
  • 21CB is a great album with varying styles & themes. It also features some of their most sophisticated songs.
  • The trilogy is a fun collection of songs which vary across genres and musical complexity. But all the songs have a mature sound demonstrating a band that clearly knows what they're doing in the studio! I'm happy with the way the whole hing has turned out and think some of these songs are amongst Green Day's finest (Stay The Night, Lazy Bones, Stray Heart, X Kid, etc).

Yeah, those songs too. Songs that kind of lost my interest later on was Know Your Enemy and 21 Guns.

Haviong said that nothing could beat American Idiot I've think the 21st Century Breakdown is a little bit better in terms of whole album flows (just like American Idiot is a rock-opera with all song connected to each others and awesome when you listen from front to back)

but in terms of individual songs I've think that's pretty much equal with the trilogy a little bit ahead just because those songs are recorded to be fun to listen to and not epic just like the previous two records

Christian's Inferno
East Jesus Nowhere
Peacemaker
Murder City
Restless Heart Syndrome
Horseshoes And Handgrenades
The Static Age
American Eulogy

Let Yourself Go

Stay The Night

Lazy Bones

Stray Heart

Brutal Love

Angel Blue

99 Revolutions

X-Kid

Could it be more

I love everything the band has done. That being said, my least favorite albums are:

Kerplunk

1039/Smoothed Out Slappy Hour

21sty Century Breakdown

Dos

(in that order. Kerplunk just has a lot of songs I tend to skip through. )

I love those albums, but out of everything, these are my bottom picks. I tried to organize their entire discography by my own preference, but it was too hard to order them. American Idiot is my all time favorite, with Nimrod, Warning and Shenanigans all being tied for second place.

21CB!

..The Trilogy still needs time to grow on me

I love both the Trilogy and 21CB. I don't think I prefer one over the others. They both have their high and low points, but still good overall for me. I remember feeling proud and happy when I heard 21CB and I felt the same way when I first heard all the songs from the Trilogy, so yeah.

Uhm I guess I prefer 21st Century Breakdown, in fact it was my first own album...

I kind of love the triology too exept maybe dos (I'm sorry) but I really like 21 CB much more

Every Green Day album ranks equally in my book. They all can be useful depending on ones mood say you just wanna beat some one to a bloody pulp most albums work. Say you just want to burn it all down well 21st CB and Dos! have that feel. You just want to not be seen some of Tre and 21st CB and AI hell almost all albums. Dos being my favorite of the trilogy. Uno is alright they fucked up on Carpe Diem and Oh Love. C-D was great back in the secret shows but the album version is absolute shit. Oh Love is over played to the point I can't stand to even listen to it. Tre is ruined by the decision to include a song in the shittiest film series ever Twatlight. Only good songs off Tre are DRB, 99 Revolutions.

Just because a song is on a soundtrack for a movie you don't like, shouldn't be the verdict for whether or not it's a good song/album. It was a marketing decision. Personally, it doesn't make me hate Tre or the song any more or less.

I'm surprised that 21st Century Breakdown is winning this poll...

I think this album is easily the worst GD album

The Forgotten is one of my favorite trilogy songs.I don't give a shit about Twilight.I just don't care.

You said you liked all Green Day albums equally, but you sure as hell seem to dislike iTRE!...

Anyway, I personally think although iTRE! is patchy, it contains some absolute belters. As well as the ones you've mentioned, Brutal Love, Amanda, 8th Avenue Serenade and Drama are some of the loveliest pieces they've ever written.

I didn't mean to go from saying they're all alright to dissing UNO and TRE. I just went off on a tangent. I think that is the correct word. Dunno I don't use that word all that often so I am unsure of if I used it right. I'm sure me from 2010 would have loved TRE but as I am not depressed to the point where suicide looks like it'd be more fun than living on. I don't like TRE like I thought I would when I pre-ordered it with out having heard a single song from it.

The only bad thing about 21st CB is the wrong choices of singles.¡Viva La Gloria! instead of Know your Enemy, more attention to East Jesus Nowhere with a regular videoclip(already exists in my mind and is pretty funny  ) and in a perfect world ¿Viva la Gloria? (Little Girl) instead of Last of The American Girls.

True, man. I'd have loved it if they made Murder City and Peacemaker singles, too.

Plus, if I had it my way I would have directed the video for Horseshoes and Hand grenades and got a whole bar fight going!
