Saying John Kiffmeyer is not an important part of Green Day is like saying Thomas Jefferson wasn't an important part of America or that Malcolm X wasn't an important part of the civil rights movement. i never said he wasnt important! i'm just saying right now he's not involved in green day, obviously. he's moved on in his life so why would you ask him a question about green day? he wouldnt answer any anyway

They'd never answer, but I actually am curious as to how well touring musicians in high profile bands get compensated. If anything, I am sure Green Day (which I guess now includes Jason) treats them well and pays them above market compared to what other touring musicians with high profile acts get paid. What do you think? If Green Day nets $250,000 a show (very rough estimate of 25% of total gate proceeds at 20,000 tickets at $50/ per ticket minus $750,000/ expenses and arena costs per show), I'd estimate they pay them each $25,000- $50,000 a show. Also, I know I might get criticized for speculating about the money aspect of things, but I'm curious, and hope anyone with any insight into the music industry can shed some light on the subject.

I've had a few conversations with Jason, he's a super nice guy, I hope he gets some real quality questions put to him; he's such an amazing musician and an integral part of GD's live show. does Jason has any tattoos?
