StuckWithInsomnia Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I don't have all their songs on my itunes, but my least played song is "Oh Love" with 1 play. I haven't listened to it because its long and slow and Billie's vocals are very irritating at the start. The song by Green Day I have probably listened to the least amount of times would be something like "Sick Of Me", "Rotting", "On The Wagon", or "Before The Lobotomy" I can't even remember how they go.
Jet Taman Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I'm surprised by all the Nightlife haters. I think it's a great song about temptation and trying not to revisit some of your old demons but there's that devil on your shoulder who constantly buzzes your ear. The struggle the protagonist in the song is going through is evident and the sexy strip club beat and girl's voice--who obviously represents temptation--makes this one of my late night end of the night after drinking and such favorite songs to play. But back to the topic at hand, I don't think I've ever listened to Rest more than once.
Todd Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I've deleted Last Ride in and Espionage simply because of the lyrics. I've also altered Panic song so the intro isn't so long, but those 3 would be really low. I love panic song, but the intro kills me. I only listen to it when I listen to the whole album on a CD *coughbadfancough*Fuck y'all Rest haters. For me, it's Mechanical Man, Another State of Mind, or DUI. I love them, but I always forget about them. I love every studio album release with all my heart.
1039Mike Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I enjoy nightlife, I always play it when it comes on :| My least played green day song is probably walk away. That song bores me so much. Either that or songs from 1039.
iScottie Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 1039 / Smoothed Out Slappy Hours: Don't Leave Me, Rest, Why Do You Want Him?, Knowledge (Live Version is better), The One I Want Kerplunk: I never really took the time to sit down and listen to the album straight through more than once or twice, so whenever I do listen to select songs, it's usually just One Of My Lies, Who Wroten Holden Caulfield, and Words I Might Have Ate Dookie: Welcome To Paradise (I've never been a big fan of it) Insomniac: I tend to listen to all of them but I frequently find myself skipping Geek Stink Breath (it's grown old on me), Bab's Uvula Who?, and Brain Stew / Jaded (old now) Nimrod: I've honestly never listened to the album all the way through once, just the entire thing in sections. I usually don't listen to Last Ride In (as it's an instrumental), Take Back (probably the weirdest Green Day song haha), and King For A Day (as the live version is far superior) Warning: I used to skip Misery for the longest time because I was never really into it, but I really love the album and don't find myself skipping anything. Shenanigans: I don't really listen to it, although I find myself only really listening to Suffocate when I play it. American Idiot: My favorite album ever. I usually always listen to it as a whole, but when I'm just in a random Green Day song mood, I find myself skipping Are We The Waiting, She's A Rebel, Extraordinary Girl, and Wake Me Up When September Ends. 21st Century Breakdown: Song Of The Century and Christian's Inferno are the only two that really come to mind. ¡Uno!: Probably Fell For You although I enjoy the album as a whole. ¡Dos!: Makeout Party, Ashley, and the tail end of Wow! That's Loud (because the sound is ear piercing ) ¡Tre!: Nothing, I love it.
jake7722 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I usually skip Take Back, Christian's Inferno and She's a Rebel
Nishant1039 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Probably few of the tracks of 1039SOSH (the album i listen to the least) . Apart from that, i tend to skip these songs: Sweet Children, Best Thing In Town, Last Ride In, Take Back, Espionage, Christian's Inferno and Last Night On Earth And from the trilogy, Troublemaker, Sweet 16, SWTRLF, Makeout Party, Lady Cobra and Nightlife.
Drop Dead Hideous Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 extraordinary girl. I have this huge urge to skip that song when I'm listening to the whole AI album...
JOE THE X-KID Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Christians inferno and King for a day, i do like them but just usually skip them
GuitarPunk94 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 looking at my itunes stats, Last Night On Earth is my least played GD song .. all in all 21stCB & AI are my least played albums and (excluding the trilogy albums) 1039/smooth.. and Insomniac are my most played albums
Ham Pascale Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 1039 / Smoothed Out Slappy Hours: 1000 Hours, Why Do You Wany Kerplunk: No One Knows, Dookie: In The End Insomniac: Walking Contradiction Nimrod: Haushinka, Last Ride In Warning: Deadbeat Holiday Shenanigans: Suffocate, Rotting, On The Wagon American Idiot: Least played 21st Century Breakdown: Same as AI ¡Uno!: Stay The Night, Loss Of Control, Fell For You ¡Dos!: See You Tonight, Amy ¡Tre!: The Forgotten, Missing You
BullwinkleCheech Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Probably 'Strangeland''. It's a good song but I just don't play it that often. Reject has to be the most played song at the moment for me
BJA TC MD Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 On my iTunes it's Stuart and the Ave (excluding any live tracks and the broadway album). No reason, other than it never comes up on shuffle.
Insomniac45 Posted April 14, 2013 Author Posted April 14, 2013 On my iTunes it's Stuart and the Ave (excluding any live tracks and the broadway album). No reason, other than it never comes up on shuffle. Ah, what a shame. That's probably my all time favorite GD song.
Velocity Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Wow! That's Loud, Nightlife, Lady Cobra, Ashley, Makeout Party and Wild One all have 0 plays in my iTunes, because I only listened to them once when I got the CD...because I don't like ¡Dos!
Sarasaurus Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Brutal Love. I've been tripping on that song a lot lately. I just love how it sounds!
JardyOfSuburbia Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Mine is All The Time with 3 plays. I like that song and am baffled by how few plays I have given it on my iTunes. Would have expected it to be something from 1039.
~ Walking Contradiction Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Probably Wild One. I listened to it like two times.
She is Amanda Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 walk away with 2 plays. I had listened to it maybe like, 3 times when it was released on the Iheartradio site. The first few times I listened to it were the worst Green Day experiences of my life. I don't think I've listened to it since it came out and I still have it stuck in my head. I can see why so many people like it, and I do like the pre-chorus. But the chorus just drags on and on and on. I know Green Day can be less repetitive than that. with this whole 1039 debate, my least played song off there is Knowledge, with 7 plays. I like the OI version better. I usually don't listen to the covers they've done, I don't really like the My Generation one either. Working Class Hero is great though.
Todd Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Song of the Century, Last of the American Girls, 21 Guns, and American Eulogy with 0 Plays. I guess I just know all the lyrics from live versions and the CD
thebridhouse Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I've never been big on Last Ride In… I ALWAYS skip it. And I don't like most of Dos! or the songs Amanda and A Little Boy Named Train from Tre!
Sarcasm Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I've never been big on Last Ride In… I ALWAYS skip it. And I don't like most of Dos! or the songs Amanda and A Little Boy Named Train from Tre!First post after twoandahalf years?Gotta agree, never dug on Little Boy or Amanda. Amanda I expected more from, I guess. Sort of the story of it all, but instead it was just another song about a girl Billie didn't bed when he had the chance or something similar.
