What is your favorite part about being a Green Day addict and why?

1. The fact that they had a huge impact in my life like caring for you loved ones and to your friends. I was selfish bastard before I knew Green Day.

2. The fact that I cared about the community I lived in because of their music.

3. The fact that I should always express myself and do not let others silence me.

4. I got into playing the guitar because of them

5. The fact that I met a lot of awesome people because of them, made new friends and became part of this community.

That whenever I feel alone or sad or depressed I can listen to GD and just.......forget. I can lose myself in their music. It feels like floating on water, both are glorious. Also that it makes me feel like myself. I have nothing to hide, not even from myself when I listen to them. No holding back, all in.

2. Getting inspiration from my idols to do things in my ordinary life that would be much harder without Green Day

3. Having got into rock music because of them

4. Knowing how REAL, sincere idols are and how linked you can feel to someone you have never even seen in real life

I love being familiar with all of their work and being able to see it almost as one continuous story, and being able to listen to an album like Insomniac and thinking something like: 'Oh yeah, this is when they were dealing with the explosion in popularity after the success of Dookie, and all the backlash that came with it, leading to the more aggressive vibe in Insomniac.'

Their music is full of lessons and observations, not so much in a preachy way, just things you can relate to...no matter where you are in your life.

But in all seriousness, I guess really it's because they're a band whose very active, always exciting, and just keep getting better in many different ways. They really got me into music, and what a band to start with!!!!

Also they got me into playing guitar, so i gotta thank them for that as well!!!!!

3. Being so used to the cues that Billie Joe uses that I always say them unconsciously when at a concert or when watching a YouTube video.

Me too! The show I went to last week I kept yelling things like "Let's Go!" like they were normal parts of the song. It's so fun!
