Does anyone know if the vest is still for sale? Haven't seen it lately in the most recent pictures of the merch...

they were selling it last week! so yes!

I'm genuinely scared tat I won't have enough money to buy all that. Gotta sell a kidney, by the seems of it.

Wouldn't be surprised if they discontinued it, I didn't see ANYONE buy it. Way too freaking expensive.

It is pretty expensive, but I've never owned a vest before, and I love splurging on Green Day if I have a chance to do so. :)

Thank you! I might get it! :)

You should by all means get it! It's a cool piece of clothing to add to a collection because Mike wears it onstage (and it just looks badass) - just a bit over-priced for me :)

I have been fangirling left and right when I see the guys wear their own merch!

I love that Mike is wearing the vest, it looks amazing on him! And I also love that Tré is wearing his own shoes! I haven't seen Billie wear anything of their own, or am I just missing it?

Did anyone else get the vest and notice the right hand breast button is misplaced or is it just mine? It's sown too high and makes the pocket bubble up a bit. It's fine just wondering?

Alright, let's go ahead and move this conversation about merch forward.

MERCH!!!!!!! Also people its not that expensive. Most venues charge a lot to sell your merch so its normal.

They don't charge but some arenas require 5-10% of what is earned

5-10% is not that expensive...

I still like mine better! :P

I like yours better, I think! More discrete. :)

They charge a percentage but its more than 5-10% My boys toured with Avril Lavigne last year and ts they would sell in clubs for 25 they had to sell at $40 to cut the same profit

Ummm last time I was dealing with shows (at the MSG and MGM Grand) they were only allowed to get 10% of the earnings... which was also pretty much the same with venues in Cali and Texas...

I'd suggest your boys to have their entertainment lawyer to check the laws on that...

I don't know if it's been said in the thread but do you have good websites where I can buy GD shirts beside Hottopic? Because there are not lots of choice! Thanks. :)

You could always try the official site...they have a lot of sales and stuff. Also, try Ebay and Amazon.

Their online store, of course!

The shirts about the trilogy on gd.com are pretty the same as on hottopic. But thanks. :)

I looked on greenday.com but on the uk and germany versions and there are lots of shirts I like on these one. Can I buy this even if it's from uk or germany? Thanks. :P

EDIT: OMG THE SHIRTS FROM GERMANY STORE ARE SO GREAT. :runaround: I WANT THEM ALL

Posted

I know the shirts for UK and Germany are WAY better than the US ones

But can we still buy them even if you're not from uk or germany? :o

Because i'm not even from US so :( And I want a shirt!

Whoa, I never checked out the Germany store before...

Anyway, I don't see why not? Although, you're going to end up paying A LOT for shipping considering it's going to be sent overseas.

You guys could also check out emp-online.com for the stuff they're selling on the official German GD shop and I think their shipping is a lot less if I'm not totally mistaken. :) They also sell one of the hoodies for 63EURO and some awesome buttons and wristbands

http://www.emp-online.com/green-day-bandit-hooded-zip/art_242020/ That's the hoodie and it really looks totally awesome, I've seen it in real life, a friend has it. :)

EDIT: damn, looks like it isn't possible for residences outside Europe to order anything =/ If you have like a friend living in Europe you could ask them to order something and then ship it to you.. but yeah. Sucks :(

Posted

I also checked the official German store.. shipping is possible anywhere as it seems but will be about 30EURO if outside of Europe.. So you guys better order a HUUUUGE amount of stuff so it'll be worth it.

EDIT: and about 16EURO for UK and most other countries in Europe besides Germany and Austria of course. Shipping to Switzerland is 18EURO

I need money. There are too many t-shirts I love this tour. :runaround:

30E of shipping? Fuck no. :( I wish I was rich when it comes to GD. This band ruinned me.

At the shows, are they still selling the hoodie? Or just the zip-up jacket now?

At the Toronto show last week they had hoodies. It's only been one (and tonight, two) shows since then. So my guess is yes!
