Would you like to be kissed by BJ in a Concert?

This is your opinion, of course.

This is plain experience. I never ever experienced screaming girls (or boys), when a good looking building worker appears. Unless he´s famous. :yay: Stardom somehow changes the view and interest of other people. Very strange. Honestly: if BJ was my baker, I would just greet him in the morning, and think, he´s a nice man and a good baker. But I wouldn´t sit around his shop to be the first one to enter it in the morning. Or would hold up a sign saying "I´m proud of you ´cause your rolls are excellent!" Or tattoo his name on my arm... :shifty:

Now that BJ is famous I would have a story to tell if I met him. Very funny. Like I got to know a rockstar years ago. So strange how I changed when I met him... though he was just like eyerybody else, just doing his job...not even extraordinary famous... but somehow it was a difference for me to meet him or his roadie... plain psychology...

Well, this is true. But apart of that, I (personally) find good looking some not so "good looking" guys. And, in my experience, some building workers or some distributors are ridiculously handsome, with these fab arms... It's the hard work, I think.

In the other hand, I'm proud of BJ because I can understand what he's experiencing, for personally reasons. Not only because I'm her fan.

(EDITED: I fangirled over Bon Scott, and is not particularly good looking...)

It's not that he's famous/a celebrity as such. It's that he's a charismatic performer! If someone's up on stage being talented and sexy and commanding the crowd with ease it makes them very attractive, there's nothing strange about that. And if that person is freely offering kisses like Billie does? Of course it makes sense that people would wanna take up the offer. Do you really think the only difference between a talented musician performing with passion and charisma up on stage, singing songs that the crowd love and hugely admire him for writing, being funny and charming, covered in sweat, gyrating his hips and looking sexy, having the whole crowd looking up to him and under his control, saying "somebody fuck me" and offering kisses, and a good looking baker selling you some good quality rolls, is fame?

Maybe you´re right. I still think it´s the fame that´s so attractive or makes people attractive (as the saying goes here: power makes sexy). Especially rockstars are attractive. Maybe because we can catch a bit of their glamour and light. It´s pure psychology, and I don´t think it has so much to do with talent. Otherwise I could go into a concert, have fun and feel great under the sun of a star, and then go home again and enjoy. Why then should I absorb every picture, word, movement or defend him against others or be jeallous if others are closer to him than I am, if it was just about talent? It´s much deeper, it´s a complex interaction. It´s a game. I like it, though. ´cause there´s nothing serious about it. It´s just f*cking funny.

Famous or not, Billie Joe is one of the sexiest man I have ever seen in my life. Would I like it if he kissed me? I have never been kissed by anyone in my life. So, if he kissed me, I would be happy because he would be my first one. However, knowing that Billie Joe kissed many people just for fun, I would be disgusted.

You haven't been kissed and you're 26? You should get onto that, it's fun!

Totally wouldn't want Billie Joe gettin' anywhere near me during a live show. All sweaty and yelling too much and shit

I wouldn't mind being kissed by him. Though I wish to God it never happens, because my sister would probably strangle him.

Fame might play into it if we're talking about wanting to get with someone for the glamour and status, or wanting show off to others that you'd met them or kissed them. But I know when I'm in the crowd at a Green Day show I'm not thinking "wow Billie's a celebrity, he's hot!". More like "wow Billie's an amazing musician and performer with some sexy moves and more charisma in his little finger than most people have in their entire body, he's hot!" :D

It is fame that gives people the confidence to behave provocatively and it is fame convinces the public that the actions of the celebrity in question are acceptable. I don't think you'd feel so comfortable with your baker being particularly, er, charismatic. :D

I think it's more the situation. A singer in a band that isn't famous, or performers of other kinds who aren't famous, can get on stage and be charismatic and have people find them attractive because of it because it's appropriate in that situation. I agree fame might give the performer more confidence to behave provocatively and give off charisma, but I think for the people in the audience it's those provocative actions and charisma that are attractive rather than the fame that caused them, for the most part. It's also the admiration people have for talent and for writing songs that they love/relate to, seeing that talent on display and knowing they created those songs you love can make someone very attractive.

All I can picture now is Billie dressed as a baker. I'd probably kiss him even if he was a baker. He looks good in my mind.

I wouldn't mind popping into the bakery to have a look at his nice buns.

I don't think you can discount the "fame" aspect of people finding him attractive, yet at the same time, it's not the only reason. It's a combination of sociological and psychological things and can't be pinned down to one specific reason. Attractiveness is completely subjective. But I think the fame is what gives us the outlet to find him attractive, but isn't the reason for us finding him attractive. If he wasn't famous, we wouldn't know who he was. We wouldn't be able to look at pictures, watch videos, listen to his voice, see him in concert, buy merch, etc. and feel a years-long emotional attachment to him (it sounds creepy, but I don't know how else to put it). It allows us to go beyond just the physical aspects of attractiveness, and like many others have said, find his personality, attitude, etc. attractive too. So yes, we technically find him attractive because he's famous. Otherwise we probably couldn't find him attractive at all, because he'd just be some random dude in Cali none of us had ever heard of.

Well, yes, in my words it would be: He´s an exhibitionist and I´m a voyeur... ;)

Yes, sure... :D

Yes, we wouldn´t find him attractive if he wasn´t famous, I guess. That´s just my point. If he was the same person, working as a baker or farmer or plumber, even if I found him attractive - would I scream and yell and ask for pictures or tell people I just bought bread and meat out of his hands or the cute plumber just repaired my sink...? Probably not, because the whole surroundings and circumstances would be missing. As I said, it´s a funny game. I like glory and glamour and exhibitonism and him being a stage hog. I like the crowd going crazy, just because he has the power to move us like puppets on a string. I like it when he is fooling around, hyperactive like a rabbit on speed. I like him just making fun.

And know what? My experience is, that little men are often the sexiest...

i would want to , but would probably just give him a giant hug...for my fiance in the crowd sake :P

You would just buy doughnuts and shit for no reason; just an excuse to be there

That´s what I did when I was a schoolgirl. I fell in love with the young boy selling milk and rolls and sweets during the breaks. Never dared to show him, but I bought milk and rolls and sweets for me and friends and again milk and rolls and sweets... but no happy end... :(

Don't feel bad. I think we've all done something like that. I know I have :ninja:

Uh, yeah. Duh.

Ahaha. I mean to me it isn't the fame and the sexiness like somebody said. But it's like I feel so much love for all of them! And respect for their music. They're so AWESOME. I like to hug/kiss people who I look up to, make me happy and make art that I think is great.

Kiss, hug, high five, handshake, eskimo, booty slap...I'd take whatever he wanted to give me :D

One of the things that I love about Billie is that he seems to be an indiscriminate kisser. Guy, girl, fat, skinny, young, old...you get the gist...he kisses anybody. It's a beautiful thing imo. The best part is the look on the persons face afterwards...Priceless.
