Karol Oliveira Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Like others said here, there are better ways to support him than a FB group/page/whatever. IMO, the best way to support him is not to drink alcohol or use any kind of drug during the shows (as someone already said). Also, go to show, go crazy during the songs, sing as loud as you can and try to avoid cameras and cell phones. I think that seeing people rocking out to their songs make him more comfortable on stage and he'll realize that he doens't need the addictive stuff. But he's already comfortable from what I can see from videos of these past shows.
PigSniffingGlue Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Living in the past doesn't help the future. "weather the storms and don't look back on last november" ..
Iain Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Jesus Christ won't you guys give them a break? Someone makes something in a positive light and all you're doing is bitch. Whether Billie sees it or not, or even cares, is of no business to me and frankly he might not even see it, but hey, it doesn't mean the OP's heart isn't in the right place. Come on folks.
Hermione Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Even though this idea comes with the best intentions, I think it's ill advised. Yes it's great that we're here backing Billie as fans (going to shows and buying their albums and maybe expressing messages of support on Instagram etc), but at the end of the day Billie's addiction problems are his own business. He's already getting help and advice from professionals, to be frank he doesn't need fans advising him what to do when he's already dealing with it in whatever way he's chosen to go about it. As I said I know this is done with totally good intentions, but I think fans need to recognize when things are our business and when they're not.Well, we're offering a strong fan base for him. In Billie's Rolling Stone interview he said he he feels like he gives a better performance when hes drunk/high. This is to show him that we care and want him to stop. You know he's already stopped right? And that he's already realized that he doesn't need to be drunk/high to give a good performance? It's nice that you want to express your support for him doing that, but he's already doing it so he doesn't need to be told to do it.
Iain Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 "weather the storms and don't look back on last november" .. ¡GLOORRRRIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAAAA! Ok I know that wasn't the lyric that comes right after but I couldn't resist doing this; you know how I am.
Hermione Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 What's the point of that photo? He's just having some silly fun there with an unused tampon (aka a totally clean, sterile wad of cotton) that someone chucked on the stage. It has nothing to do with being at "breaking point".
LazyPhil Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 We should just give him a fucking break and let him figure this out on his own, he already knows he's got a strong fanbase who supports him.

People were saying that he was smoking weed. I couldn't tell perfectly from the picture, but thanks for the clarification. Edited my post.

Edited my post.Ohh I thought you were saying playing around with a tampon was an example of being at the breaking point of addiction . Fair enough then, forget my comment.
LazyPhil Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 People were saying that he was smoking weed. I couldn't tell perfectly from the picture, but thanks for the clarification. Edited my post. Weed is not physically addictive dude Ain't nothing wrong with smoking weed
Amanda Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Tampon abuse is a serious matter, it's a well known gateway to sanitary towel addiction
Iain Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 *resists the urge to continue, or the whole thread will become one big sing along* ...sabotaging thread in 3...2...SHE IS THE SAINT OF ALL THE SINNERS!
Clockwise Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 "weather the storms and don't look back on last november" .. I think you mean 'don't look back on last september' This is a really nice idea, and yeah, it won't help much, but it won't harm either.
Hermione Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 I just said stop spamming. Deliberately doing the opposite of what a mod has just asked is a good way of getting warned, don't do it again please.
Iain Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Spam ends now or this thread's getting closed. Okay I'll stop now.
LazyPhil Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Yeah, everybody knows how Facebook likes can change the world...
Iain Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Yeah, everybody knows how Facebook likes can change the world... Funnily enough, despite the fact I said the OP's heart was in the right place; at least this wasn't a "Like so <subject X> can get <subject/objective Y>, ignore if you want <subject X> to die!", which sickens me. I don't like "Likes" as if they're to change something, but realistically, I know this won't change anything. But at least we as fans could show, even in a minimal manner, we do care to a degree. No one says you have to like it, so I don't see the big hubub.
