Vermillion Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 It sold out almost instantly until 2009, since then it has taken ages to sell out, sometimes as late as the week of the festival itself.
Bastard of 1969 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Oh my gawd, they are going to rock those places out!
dangreenday Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Got my weekend ticket for Leeds, surprised, as they normally sell out pretty fast don't they? Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Frank Turner, BMTH. This is going to be EPIC. you forgot New found Glory ! ! !
Hero_Of_The_Hour Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Seriously considering this!! Thing is I am totally clueless about Reading & Leeds & since I would be flying over from Ireland I would wanna make it count...so stupid question alert: are Reading & Leeds far apart travel wise? Would it be possible to do both (relying on public transport)?

Would it be possible to do both (relying on public transport)? Not very far apart. They're about 3.5 hours/200 miles apart by car/coach, I know that. I'm not sure about the time on a train. Either way, I guess you could easily get to both.
JaHawk2009 Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 Just paid my first instalment for Leeds. I am seeing Green Day this year!!!! And I haven't read every page of this thread, admittedly, but rather than making it likely there will be more gigs this year, this actually makes it less likely that any will even be announced until after the festivals. Reading and Leeds are both big on grabbing "exclusives" so they can pull in as many ticket sales from fans of the headliners as possible.
