Todd Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Okay, all you guys saying you love legos, I'm a lego collector, and I have roughly $10,000 worth (roughly 80,000 pieces) of legos. I have a 40inch x 100inch lego city display in my basement, not to mention several boxes and bins of loose pieces. I've been collecting my entire life, and I actually made my own lego Green Day. And fuck Green Day, because now I spend all my money on Green Day stuff and not Legos. (#firstworldproblems).
Todd Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 And if you know anything about cuusoo, this isn't gonna happen. #1. Lego will have to pay Green Day #2. Target audience are kids 6-14, bands based off weed, sex, drugs & violence blood, sex & booze methamphetamine, taking dumps over balconies, fuck the establishment, fuck off and die, dickhead fuckface cocksmoking motherfucking, suck my dick until your lips fall off? Lego doesn't want to be responsible for pointing kids in that direction #3. Not that many people would buy it. Look how many copies the trilogy sold. A lego set would MAYBE sell a quarter of that. Lego's not gonna get a contract for a liscensed theme, produce multiple, not even 1 set if they're not gonna sell big. They have high standards you guys. Lego makes more and more money each year, and they don't want to fuck up. #4. Anyone here play Lego Rockband? I didn't think so. Lego lost money on that flop too.

Lauren Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 It would make them look like sellouts, Lego Green Day sets is going a bit too far, an angry birds game is bad enough. dude they sold out years ago who cares? I think LEGO Green Day figures are a great way to introduce the little ones to the band. And if you know anything about cuusoo, this isn't gonna happen. #1. Lego will have to pay Green Day #2. The last Cuusoo made was Minecraft. So doesn't LEGO have to pay Minecraft? #2. A lot of young kids like Green Day. Besides, I hardly think that kids those age have seen Back to the Future, and even I don't know what the first two Cuusoo projects are supposed to be. #3. The trilogy flopped because they lost all promotion. Once they tour kicks off, they'll probably sell a lot more albums. #4. I don't think the idea of these sets is to make millions. You only need 10,000 supporters for your idea to become reviewed. This isn't Kickstarter. You don't have to pay anything to support the idea. So, probably only 2,000 of those 10,000 people would buy it, if they're lucky. It doesn't cost a lot of money to make these things and they sell them for like $30. They'll be fine.

moonflower93 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 This is like one of the best things ever YAY definitely supported. Needs to be shared on GDA and the facebookpages! i shared this info via fb and twitter. i will share it on my blog and tumblr next.
gmcloughlin Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I supported it! I'd love to add something like this to my collection, along with the International Superhits action figures
The Grohl Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Must have!! I would love Lego Green Day to sit on my dresser!
ThibautDookie Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I would prefer if they did those for Dookie and Insomniac era, it would be better.
Kitty Purry Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Lol I'm laughing way too hard at this!! especially mike THE HAIR MY GOD! it's so randomn. and ofcourse people are complaining about the whole sell out thing seriously get over it. They sold out 20 years and they made it so it's time to move on.
whatshername0303 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I just saw that on GDA and it's awesome. The guys are so cute and funny in Lego.
justagrouch Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Supported!!! It would be soooooo fucking awesome! =D
Theultimaxgamer Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 This would be amazing if it actually happened....Well i guess its time to spam Green day videos to support this!
Harinezumi Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Did you see the Lego concert festival stage! It's pretty awesome. Vote vote vote... I want to be able to buy this for my friends kids some day. http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/29019
heart on a noose Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Supported. Video is so awesome, and reminded me how much I used to play with legos when I was lil kid.

I'm sorry but that's kinda naïve. It's not gonna happen. 2,000 people buying a set like this may seem a lot but it's literally NOTHING compared to what Lego COULD and DOES sell with all their other sets.

It's not gonna happen. 2,000 people buying a set like this may seem a lot but it's literally NOTHING compared to what Lego COULD and DOES sell with all their other sets. That's what I'm saying. I was talking about all the sets in general. The first two Cuusoo sets look dumb to me. The only one I'd wanna buy is the Minecraft one. Besides, you guys don't know anything. It probably won't go through, yeah. but what's wrong with trying? Don't wanna waste thirty seconds of your time?
FreakyMe Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 ha, funny but shouldn't be billie's legohim a big bit shorter than mike and tre i share the opiion that this will make green day look like sellouts, so i hope i won't get released but its funny
Cob Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 I'm sorry but that's kinda naïve. It's not gonna happen. 2,000 people buying a set like this may seem a lot but it's literally NOTHING compared to what Lego COULD and DOES sell with all their other sets. That's why these sets go on limited runs. They're not made for toy stores across the world, they're made for collectors and memorabilia fanatics.
