deadair Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 For those who don't know, there have been probably been a few bands before that have done a trilogy of albums. I know and like at least one band that has before- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Maggot http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bootlicker http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Crybaby
S.T-RebelJesus Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 How to quit GDC. 1. close the tab. 2. that's it. WELL I DON'T WANT TO BE HACKED AGAIN, DO YOU WANT SPAM POST FROM ME? THEN LET ME HAVE THE ACOUNT DELETE!
localinsomniac Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 It's not a hack if your brother just figured out your password. So change it. And for God's sake, turn off the caps lock.
Todd Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 WELL I DON'T WANT TO BE HACKED AGAIN, DO YOU WANT SPAM POST FROM ME? THEN LET ME HAVE THE ACOUNT DELETE! Kill your brother, not my eyes with caps lock
Jet Taman Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 Mid-life crisis. And fortunately/unfortunately as a 36 year old husband and father I can COMPLETELY relate to just about every song on there....
Cath Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I really like the idea of a trilogy. That was a big risk. But what is really disappointing are the names. UNO DOS TRE. They could have find something better.

They could have find something better. I think the names are good, they were supposed to be funny and to show that they don't take themselves too seriously. And also these names are very easy to remember
Asa. Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 They wanted to advertise for Angry Birds but I don't think it got as huge as they'd hoped.
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I think the names are good, they were supposed to be funny and to show that they don't take themselves too seriously. And also these names are very easy to remember Billie and Mike are the joke, and Tre is the punch line
JardyOfSuburbia Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I think it's fun to see the evolution of the band throughout their career. Nimrod had the experimental, acoustic 'Good Riddance' which then led to many acoustic songs on Warning. Warning had 'Misery' which was their first sort of multiple stories in one song approach, which in turn led to American Idiot. American Idiot and the rock opera approach led to more political songs on 21st Century Breakdown and I think the three acts on 21CB may have been helped them branch out to three albums. Hope that made sense. Just a way I like to look at their evolution.
