This is why I don't read comments at all. I just read what people have to say on here because we won't bash the band at all. But on sites like Rolling Stone and even the bands official facebook page is full of spam, hateful comments and the same people over and over commenting about coming to their country.

It is really hard to read such horrible stuff about someone or something you love. Now I'm not reading comment sections anymore either. That's the best thing to do. I had someone tell me that Billie Joe was a junkie, and they clearly weren't a Gren Day fan. I got pissed off because of their ignorance; rehab isn't just for those who are addicted to substance, it's also for people who have mental issues or psychological issues besides. If anything, it's more a mentality issue than a substance issue for anyone.

I think he actually clarified that in one of his articles, he doesn't hate them, he's pretty indifferent to them. It's just his job to be funny, so he uses them because a lot of internet people hate them
