No. He said he didn't think he needed to. It was other people telling him he was getting out of control that convinced him. He didn't realize how bad it was until he had to detox and had bad withdrawals. He even had a nurse who would visit at his home to make sure he wouldn't have seizures and stuff while detoxing. He said it was a miserable couple weeks.

Wow... So was it alcohol or weed? It probably didn't say but I didn't know withdrawal from either of those could cause seizures...

Maybe not blackouts and all that, but it can cause severe stomach and liver issues later in life, plus nerve damage.

I'd much prefer to see him on nothing at all. Switching addictions won't help anyone in the long term.

Agreed, He's going to have to do something while on tour waiting to hit the stage. Maybe a run on a threadmill will get him pumped

Mentally, but not physically. It's much easier to kick a pot habit than say, a coke habit.
