Kitty Purry Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 They get paid to do that, so anybody could do it for the right price. whoops that's what I get for not reading things on the internet I just saw the picture but my point still stands about how they only promote to fans.

That problem should (hopefully) disappear once the boys get back to work. A Rolling Stone interview/cover story for BJ and a few late night tv performances would be great.
may10 Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I'd definetly wear that send me one of those stickers!lol
Slave To The Network Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Is it strange that I think it's a bit weird? Wouldn't a shirt or something have the same effect?
Hermione Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Is it strange that I think it's a bit weird? Wouldn't a shirt or something have the same effect? It wouldn't have the same effect because an album cover on a shirt is something you can see in any town any day, there's nothing interesting about it. Whereas this much more unusual and eye-catching. As for if it's weird........not for Japan
Caractériel Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 It's different, I'll give them that. Not sure if it will actually work, but I suppose in this day and age, you have to think outside the box when it comes to promotion.

We're like bacteria that develop resistance to antibiotics - we've become too skeptical and cynical for ads that would be just fine a decade or two before.
Shredder2 Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 It's Japan. I'm not surprised, seeing how they don't have much land to advertise on, so might as well advertise on people. xD

HolyHandGrenade Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 The advertising just got mentioned on the Philip Defranco Show. Start at 1:05 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXbC9TiJFOg Free promotion
GreenDayisAmazing Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I would wear Green Day stickers for free!

Mykee Mexx Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 What if they shaved their heads and had tattoos on their skull. For boys and girls... unisex... would double the possibilities...
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 What if they shaved their heads and had tattoos on their skull. For boys and girls... unisex... would double the possibilities... People going through cancer treatment could get some extra cash for bills, while showing off their favorite band.
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 That´s ugly... If they want to... Nothing wrong with it. I'd do it.
pasalacquaian Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 that has got to be the weirdest form of advertising I've ever seen. weird, but very original
VisionsofGreenDay115 Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 My dream is coming true!! Asians (no offense) and Green Day tattoo's!!!
Hermione Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 What if they shaved their heads and had tattoos on their skull. For boys and girls... unisex... would double the possibilities... I'd also be fine with boys in short shorts going around with the stickers on their thighs
Mykee Mexx Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 I'd also be fine with boys in short shorts going around with the stickers on their thighs Hairy legs... ?! C´mon...
Tommy's Tonsils Posted March 6, 2013 Posted March 6, 2013 Green Day objectifying women? Not awesome, actually.
