DookieLukie Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 It's okay, no one ever accused DookieLukie of being overly bright. Just let it go I'm honored.
munns6691 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Serious, sure. I mean it. I love Last Ride In, but didn´t find other people who liked it. So I´m glad I found you. Seriously. Once I watched a video where BJ tried to play the song and totally ruined it. Since then I question myself whether they played it themselves. Found the video: He can't remember simple lyrics.. So I'm not at all suprised he forgot how to play an instumental
Z J Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 does he even have the right instruments with him to play Last Ride In? haha
Hermione Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 They put it in the musical but it was written long before they were famous. Unpopular opinion....hm.... ok I got it: I love Foreverly. It is not really my style of music. But the harmonies are so incredible. And the lyrics are haunting at times. It isn't something I'm going to listen to a lot, I need to be in the right mood. The reason I really like it is because I like the motivation Billie had for doing it. Him wanting to take all this incredibly old and obscure music and introduce a generation of fans to this music is admirable. Because of the album, I ended up checking out the Everly Brothers. And it showed me a part of rock n roll history. So I thank Billie for that, he was spot on. Awesome post. Not really unpopular though! You should check the threads about the album to see other people's thoughts on it, people like it.

The Disappearing Boy Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Little boy named train is fucking amazing I've never understood the hate for that song. I mean it's not great, not even the best on Tre, but it ain't bad.
WhiteTim Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Based on what? His opinion lol Ahh late reply lol

bagelfeet Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Little boy named train is fucking amazing agreed
Z J Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 that song is bad because the lyrics are lame, the melody is like a 3/10, and there is no notable instrumentation. And his voice sounds terrible. They took the punch out of it. Actually the lyrics are fucking awful "Cause I'm a little boy named train ask me again I'll tell you the same" I've heard more creative hopscotch rhymes

"What rhymes with train? Same? Hmm, kind of. Yeah, we'll go with that." And as I've said before, the only people who could possibly relate to it are the cast of Thomas The Tank Engine.
Spike Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 and the train buddies There's no such thing as a train buddy.
AlissaGoesRAWR Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I've never understood the hate for that song. I mean it's not great, not even the best on Tre, but it ain't bad. It's actually really bad. It's so unmemorable and I can't relate to it at all.
Spike Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 It's actually really bad. It's so unmemorable and I can't relate to it at all. I'd argue that it is memorable and that's the worst thing about it. I find it unlistenable, it makes me really sad to know my favourite band are capable of such things.
