SeeYouTonight Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I know what it means, I'm just wondering where in gods name did you get the impression that anyone in this thread is a purist? I haven't even seen theanswer in here yet... look at the first pages of this topic, and see where I got it from

munns6691 Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Album. Just sounds a bit strained. Really? I quite live Waiting on the album
Spike Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Really? I quite live Waiting on the album Yeah, I really like it too, I've just always thought his voice sounds a bit... odd, on it. I mean, it works, but it can be a bit grating. It sounds like he's holding back, somehow.
Pied Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 people who believe one thing (such as punk) is someone who expects everything to be exactly like the thing they like; doesn't believe in watered-down versions of such things (credits to urban dictionary, I suck at wording these things) Urban Dictionary? Wow.Well, while I'm here, I'd just like to say these things: 1. The Drunken Bunny isn't funny and should be canned. 2. They should play songs from Warning live. I know they always play Minority and Waiting, but Warning has a lot of great songs that should be played live more often. 3. Nightlife would actually be an okay song IF A: They didn't add all those stupid effects to Billie's voice in the beginning and B: It wasn't a legit Green Day song.

It's such an awesome album, to not play more of it live is criminal. 3A. Absolutely, yes. 3B. I don't get this. Does it matter whose song it is? That doesn't change what it sounds like.
IlariaIDIOT Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I don't understand why Cuatro doesn't have subtitles.
Jax Teller Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I don't understand why Cuatro doesn't have subtitles. Because they are lazy as hell.

IlariaIDIOT Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Because they are lazy as hell. I've already seen it with Italian subtitles before I bought my copy but I mean I was expecting something like BIAB! Okay, I study English but ehy give me subtitles please ahahaha

Okay, I study English but ehy give me subtitles please ahahaha Yeah, give us subtitles goddammit. Seriously, there are many people who don't know very good English.

Spike Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 Maybe a cold? I wouldn't have thought so, sounds unlikely given that they could have just waited until he was feeling better if that was the case. I just think maybe it's because it's very low in his range in places, it's not as strong as it might be.

I'm not sure if that is the right term but it seems like a more sung type of vocal, if that makes sense.

Waiting does have a reasonably big range though, it has one of the lowest notes Billie has ever sung.
WhiteTim Posted October 22, 2013 Posted October 22, 2013 I don't understand why Cuatro doesn't have subtitles. Cost it costs a lot for subtitles It can cost 50-60k for a 30 minute program to have subtitles

Spike Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 So maybe that's it? I beat if sang it in studio on AI or later it would be more crisp Yeah, maybe. Obviously he's improved a lot as a singer since then, and it sounds fine live now so it'd be interesting to see what he could do with it in the studio these days.
Antonium2200 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I like the album Warning, in fact, I love it. As far as I know, a lot of people do not like it, so that's what makes my opinion unpopular.

Scott34 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Not a fan of Insomniac. One of the worst 2 GD albums for me (Dos).
Carrot Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I like the album Warning, in fact, I love it. As far as I know, a lot of people do not like it, so that's what makes my opinion unpopular. 95% of people on here like warning. not really hated that much

Ceadog would disagree with you there. Not a fan of Insomniac. One of the worst 2 GD albums for me (Dos). Why do you say that? I can see someone not liking it as much as AI or Nimrod. or Warning, but to rank it next to Dos? Them's fightin' words. If nothing else, it blows Dos out of the water lyrically.
