Mar Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 while we're on 21st century breakdown, what do u guys think of the song Olivia he sang at one of the concerts? and what the hell is the song even about cause i thought he was close to crying at part of it Olivia is Billie's mom's name, if that gives you a little more context. There are only little footages of the band playing those songs. Here's Oh Girl and Dreamcatcher: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMSNwRTAhkA And here's Olivia: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynPpQ5mfXSY Huh; I've had Dreamcatcher and Olivia on my iTunes for years, but somehow never heard Oh Girl, so thank you for posting! (Or thank Aska for recording it ) I've never been in love with these songs, but I also think they have a lot of potential as B-sides at the least. But Oh girl is a cover, right ? It's definitely not this song, no (although I fucking love it, so I wouldn't mind if they covered it) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjN8huzS2Nc
walking_c0ntradicti0n Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 ok, i saw the favorite song on tre poll on GDA, and how did drama queen get more votes then Little Boy Named Train?
Guest Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 ok, i saw the favorite song on tre poll on GDA, and how did drama queen get more votes then Little Boy Named Train? Because more people clicked the little button beside Drama Queen.
Asa. Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 ok, i saw the favorite song on tre poll on GDA, and how did drama queen get more votes then Little Boy Named Train? because drama queen is fucking awesome and little boy named train is filler. I personally think its the worst song on the trilogy. Catchy, nonetheless

Guest Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 You asked a dumb as fuck question, it deserved a dumb as fuck answer.
Z J Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 I do agree. But as much as I hate Drama Queen, it's at least marginally better then LBNT. at least it's different, I suppose (only redeeming quality)
Spike Posted October 8, 2013 Posted October 8, 2013 Drama Queen may have THAT line (idgaf what it's meant to mean, it's still about womb juice, like it or not) but overall it's fucking great. Little Boy Named Train is filler and the only people who could possibly relate to it are the cast of Thomas the Tank Engine.
Asa. Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Drama Queen is the bee's knees. I was dying to hear a fuller version for years after hearing that acoustic live one.

bagelfeet Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 I genuinely don't understand the hate on A Little Boy Named Train :/ it's my favorite song from ¡Tré! to be quite honest... (Incoming hate)
Guest Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 The Trilogy should have been called "Hey, Mr Tambourine Man: An Epic in Three Parts"

Jollyroger118 Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 The Trilogy should have been called "Hey, Mr Tambourine Man: An Epic in Three Parts" Ummm why?
Oxymore Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Little boy named Train. A train, on rails, rails, cocaine rails. I can make interpretations, me too.
Guest Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Ummm why? Because the Trilogy is basically a 2 hour tambourine solo.
The Disappearing Boy Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 You're all wrong LBNT is awesome - better than Drama Queen.
Oxymore Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 We should know what you are all talking about exactly. The lyrics, or the musical ? Cause I love some of their songs only for the lyrics that really moves me but not necessarily the musical...
Snows Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 Because the Trilogy is basically a 2 hour tambourine solo. hahaha no. I really love Drama Queen. LBNT is filler, but is not that bad, imo.
Guest Posted October 9, 2013 Posted October 9, 2013 hahaha no. I really love Drama Queen. LBNT is filler, but is not that bad, imo. Every single song has about 4 layers of tambourine on it. Once you hear it, it completely ruins the Trilogy for you. Sorry about that.

I'm not aware of this detail...I'm gonna hear it carefully the next time. I hope it doesn't ruin the trilogy for me though, I like it! Don't be sorry!
