Isabel Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Haha me too! I said EmENius not EmEENius. It was a revelation. He's pronouncing it wrong! It's like how the lyrics in Burnout are allegedly 'My hair is shagging in my eyes' as opposed to 'My hair is shaking in my ass' ....as if, Billie. I actually thought most people knew almost all the songs so this is actual news to me haha. They most certainly don't have to know them all, as long as they don't complain if they attend a concert and the bands plays songs they don't know, if they still have fun its all good. ... It's not eye-er-land though...? Really? Really? Do you not ever go to shows and notice that a lot of people often don't seem to know a good chunk of the songs? I always notice it - it doesn't annoy me though, or anything...it's just something I notice. But I don't think there should be any expectation on their part. I mean it's nice when loads of people know all the songs but I don't think they should feel they have to, you know? I've been to shows where I know barely any of the songs. I may have just tagged along with a friend because they didn't want to go alone Ha, to an American person it probably is
tdlyon Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Mike wrote the lyrics maybe that's why Him and Billie wrote it together.
Z J Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Mike wrote the lyrics maybe that's why By himself? Doesn't really change the point.
Overjoyyed Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Wow I never noticed tre got Botox?? That seems so weird.. Like very weird!
Hermione Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Wow I never noticed tre got Botox?? That seems so weird.. Like very weird! Lol I don't think he did, looked like he was freely pulling crazy faces as usual when I saw them! Is there actually any evidence of this?
proud_ginge Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I have thought that Tre has a very smooth forehead for years now, and wonderfully neat eyebrows, fairly convinced it is all natural though, as he was like that even in the early 'scruffy' years.
Ste.A Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 I think the album Warning is better than the 21CB album
IlariaIDIOT Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Mike has the best voice in the band. I prefer BJ voice but I don't understand who says that Mike's voice is bad
Guest Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 Mike has the best voice in the band. He's definitely a lot better than Billie these days, that's for sure.
Cath Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 but Mike singing as lead singer would be bad (i mean for gd songs) what about Jason. his voice is so great!
Guest Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 what about Jason. his voice is so great! He would literally be the most boring frontman on the face of the planet.
Cath Posted August 29, 2013 Posted August 29, 2013 He would literally be the most boring frontman on the face of the planet. i know i wasn't talking as a lead singer. just that he's got a great voice. jason frontman
Guest Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Billie needs to get fucking angry again. I don't care what it's about. But he writes his best shit when he's pissed off. That's why the trilogy sucked ass, he was way too far into his comfort zone shitting out songs that barely made the grade. He needs to find something, and let rip at it.
munns6691 Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 If Billie wasn't he singer, I probably wouldn't like the band
belinda jane Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 i hope they don't do another rock opera. i wouldn't mind something that's musically similar to ai and 21cb, but i don't really want another album with a storyline. two was enough. really i'm hoping they go in a totally new direction and surprise us all. i don't want one either. i just want something normal. can't they just do one album with a bunch of great songs? no more epic shit. it's been done. time to move on.
Guest Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 it's been done. time to move on. So has the album of normal songs, in fairness. They just tried to do that 3 times, and it was a fucking disaster.
olstjimmy Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 i don't want one either. i just want something normal. can't they just do one album with a bunch of great songs? no more epic shit. it's been done. time to move on. Agreed. i just want a good solid album with some awesome songs on... If they wanna do the rock opera stuff well...that's what the musical and possible [but never going to happen] film projects of those are for really. so it's there if they want... not so they have to do the same thing again
belinda jane Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 So has the album of normal songs, in fairness. They just tried to do that 3 times, and it was a fucking disaster. totally know what you mean. i tried to put that into the "epic" category. they tried to do it in a bigger way, and it didn't work. they just need to release ONE SINGLE ALBUM. please
Guest Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 I'm starting to think that they've evolved beyond doing a simple album. They tried to go back to basics with the Trilogy, but they simply couldn't. It was like Billie had slipped straight back into autopilot, churning out run of the mill songs without running any kind of quality control over them. I wouldn't hold my breath waitin for another Nimrod, that's for sure.
belinda jane Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 it just makes me wonder what they'll do with the next album. i wish they could do another nimrod, but i know that is definitely not going to happen. after you do something so big i guess it would be hard to go back to "normal". really, they haven't done anything simple like that since 'warning', which was 13 years ago. you can't just click your fingers and go back to what they used to do. god dammit
Guest Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 It'd be interesting to see if they did a Springsteen and just do a couple of acoustic albums of pseudo folk rebel songs out of nowhere, just to fuck with all the fans you got through your massive breakthrough albums Not sure if they could pull it off though, unfortunately.
