Jon Benjamin Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I used to love Lazy Bones, and it's still a good song, but I'm getting kinda bored of it. Also I don't like Stop When The Red Lights Flash, it sketches me out
Mar Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I used to love Lazy Bones, and it's still a good song, but I'm getting kinda bored of it. Also I don't like Stop When The Red Lights Flash, it sketches me out I don't hate the song; in fact, I quite like it, but at the same time I TOTALLY get what you mean! Something about it makes me uncomfortable and dirty. (Plus, as was discussed previously, it's missing its spark live.)
Batgirl Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Wild One is awesome. I can't wait to hear it live. THIS SO MUCH.
Comrade Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 After a careful re-listen, the Trilogy really is absolutely fantastic, but Tre is by far and away the most bland.
Guest Trotsky Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 THIS SO MUCH. I don't understand why (almost) nobody cares about Wild One. I am glad that there are others who like this song. This is definitely the most underrated song of the Trilogy.
DannyDirnt Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I think See The Light would have been great for the solo acoustic part in the 21st CB tour.
DookieLukie Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I think See The Light would have been great for the solo acoustic part in the 21st CB tour. I'd have to disagree. Some of the best parts of that song are the electric guitar buildups and the drum fills towards the middle/end.
DannyDirnt Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I'd have to disagree. Some of the best parts of that song are the electric guitar buildups and the drum fills towards the middle/end. But a solo acoustic version would highlight the beauty in the lyrics and the melody of the voice, which to me would be better. I don't like how the main riff of the song is just 21st CB speeded up.

This is definitely the most underrated song of the Trilogy. right? I love that song so much, i think it's my favorite off of Dos, i love the intro and the lyrics, i don't get why some people are unimpressed by it
Guest Trotsky Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 right? I love that song so much, i think it's my favorite off of Dos, i love the intro and the lyrics, i don't get why some people are unimpressed by it Yeah, the lyrics, the intro...And that solo... wild one is so good. it's one of my favorites from the trilogy but somehow even i tend to overlook it sometimes, maybe because whenever dos came out i listened to it so much i have to skip it sometimes whenever it comes on now. really hoping they eventually start playing it live. I have watched this video of Wild One from Echoplex on youtube 1000000 times.
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 really? I thought it was very impressive especially considering they had never really been a stadium rock or piano type band. The vocals on the album are their best by far. sure, it was impressive considering they'd never done something that 'technical' (not the right word but i'm dumb ok) but it was still shite. one of my least favourite albums, easily. After a careful re-listen, the Trilogy really is absolutely fantastic, but Tre is by far and away the most bland. THANK YOU. tre is awful thre's like 4 or 5 good songs the rest is just blaaaahhhhh
Z J Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 sure, it was impressive considering they'd never done something that 'technical' (not the right word but i'm dumb ok) but it was still shite. one of my least favourite albums, easily. Yeah I get that you think it is "shite" but I was looking for the reason why you believe that
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Yeah I get that you think it is "shite" but I was looking for the reason why you believe that right okay i believe it's a bad album because it feels like they tried to do AI again, get that same success and it was a flop. a lot of the songs sound samey, while some are great tracks, a lot of them i have listened to once and not touched again because they were not memorable in the least. i can name 3 or 4 songs off that album, because they're so forgettable. the skill was there, not denying that, but it was bland as fuck.
munns6691 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I'm split on Tre (the album) 1. Why is everyone so down on Tre (the album) 2. Do I even think Tre is good? Brutal Love, Missing You, and 8th Ave. Serenade are 3 of my favorites from the trilogy. A Little Boy Named Train, and Walk Away each have one real good lyric line in them and the rest is bland. I like Sex, Drugs and Violence. Drama Queen bores me now and Amanda is alright. 99 Revolutions and Dirty Rotten Bastards are a tad overrated You need to be in the right mood for The Forgotten So, Tre used to be my favorite of the trilogy, but now I think it's alot lower on the scale
MaraGreenDay Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 For me is Dos-Tré-Uno But i really love the three records, it's just the way i enjoyed them
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 dos > uno > tre. i love all of dos it's an amazing album not a single bad song on there.
bioshockerxx Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I think Carpe Diem is one of the of the best trilogy songs tbh
Guest Trotsky Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 The problem of Tre is in the middle (actually from 6th song till 8th song). There are far better pop punk songs on Uno. On the other hand, sometimes I think that songs like Little Boy Named Train and Sex, Drugs and Violence would be better with more "hard" guitars.
munns6691 Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I don't get all the love for Dos. I like some songs on their but none are my favorites or even top 10 of the trilogy, save Lazy Bones.
fromdecimateddreams Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I don't get all the love for Dos. I like some songs on their but none are my favorites or even top 10 of the trilogy, save Lazy Bones. Yeah, same. I like Dos, but ifi don't really get all the hype over it. I think the different kind of sound threw me a little and maybe it'll grow on me more if I listen to it a few more times. Tre is my personal favourite of the trilogy. I feel like the songs are easier to relate to and I just prefer the sound of that one over the other two, but Uno isnt far behind.
The Grouch is Tracy Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I did not really get the hype for X-Kid until I saw/heard it live
belinda jane Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 i dislike a lot of songs off dos, but i have a feeling that once i see them live i will change my mind completely and love them. that's what happened with the static age on 21cb. i really disliked it, but by the end of the tour it was one of my favourite songs - and now i absolutely love it.
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I did not really get the hype for X-Kid until I saw/heard it live I think it's worse live, to be honest. It's too fast and it comes off awkward.
Guest Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 I cried every time they played it live it was so emotional. They slowed it down anyway so it worked better. I only saw it the first time they played it live, and it was so cringe. I was like "NO YOU RUINED IT YOU DUMB FUCKS HOW". Very glad they fixed it
