I used to hate Burnout and Having A Blast but now i love them. I think Nuclear Family is the best song on Uno! Baby Eyes is the best on Dos! And X-Kid is the best on the trilogy.

almost all agree with you beside the fact that my favorite one on dos is Lazy Bones :) and Baby Eyes is okay to me. not bad not amazing.

but yes Burnout and Having a Blast are both awesome songs

This is probably a stupid infatuation of mine, but: I like Green Day's love songs much more when they're neutral. Like in Last Night On Earth, When It's Time or Redundant. They aren't specifically referred to either a girl or a guy, therefore you can always relate to them. However, in the trilogy most love/sex song is all about girls: 'Brown eyed girl', 'She, little wild one', 'She's my drama queen', 'I like your bmxcelent tits while I'm sitting at the trafic lights'... Therefore, I don't find them as awesome as I could have if they had changed those lines for things like 'You, little wild one', 'You're my drama queen', etc.

This is SO true! When I quote love songs from the Trilogy on Twitter or Facebook I get so many funny "Are you a lesbian?" comments from friends and family even though I have a boyfriend haha. Its really amusing actually :)

That statement does not belong in this thread. It is in no way an unpopular statement, Green Day related or otherwise.

With my two songs, plus Sassafras Roots, it seems like a miracle for them to be the subject of a conversation, much less get mentioned

I feel like a lot of great albums from the 90's, notably Dookie, Metallica, and Nevermind, have a strange phenomenon among them: The albums themselves are pretty much 100% pure gold, but the singles were so completely and utterly massive that they overshadow the rest of the album's tracks despite the fact that they're all quality.

Pulling Teeth used to be my least favorite track on Dookie, but then I realized that it's completely tongue in cheek and satirical. And even beyond that, it's still a brilliant pop song, so it's gradually become one of my favorites.
