Speechless & Redundant

I dunno, I could see Tre dressing up and singing Lady Cobra's part

 Now I need this to happen!

I kind of hope they keep "King for a Day" in the set list. That's always a lot of fun when they play it.

I can understand how people get tired of it, however it's one of my favourite parts of the shows. I love it when they mess around and Billie starts singing random stuff

Yeah that was my favorite part during Bullet in a Bible  I would love to see it live

I actually saw it in the 21CB tour and it was way more entertaining than in Bullet in a Bible. Maybe they have something special for this tour.

But I don't know, since they will be playing smaller venues I don't think they will play it anymore, unless not permanently.

I don't know about everywhere else but I know the venue they're doing for Chicago isn't small, so I always get confused when they say they're doing small venues on this tour

But lucky you! I'm jealous now :P

If he actually did this, I would probably die. I'm pretty sure it needs to happen.

I wouldn't rule out them playing Nightlife just yet...I mean, who expected them to ever play King for a Day live? :)

hmm I suppose King for a day could go now as well? It's a lot of fun but we've all seen it soooo many times. Maybe Fuck time might become the new 'do crazy shit' song?

I'm not the biggest Fuck Time fan compared to a lot of other people, but I think this could be great! :D

Oh good God :o

My only expectation is for them to include Central America :P

Pearl Jam style! They never repeat sets and play whatever the hell they want. That's awesome and also adds surprise to the fans

Pearl jam are amazing live because they do that! you literally have no idea what your going to get. It would be great If Green day did this but Unfortunately I dont see it happening, this is because when you see pearl jam live, no matter how big the venue, its just the band on the stage, no fancy in time lighting or pyros or anything. Unless theyre playing small club shows (ala shepherds bush) Green Day have included these things into their live show for the last 10+ years and you cant sychronise lighting/graphics/flames when the band hasnt decided what they are playing. this is also obvious cause on the 21cb tour they never had pyros or lyrics up on the screen in the oldies section (the only bit they freestyled, kind of) they just had generic old green day graphics up. Green day dont need that stuff to make a good show but I think they think they do. and thats why they will never truly freestyle large shows. can dream though.

also even if they did do that, they will still always play loads of the hits at festivals because festivals will write it into the contract. even pearl jam get told to play Alive and even flow when I saw them at reading fest in 06.

If they get a trumpeter and a trombone player again then they have no excuse not be playing Brutal Love. Ugh I'd love to hear that live <3

It's the MUST song, for godness sake! If they don't play it live, I'll jump on the stage and make them do that!!!

*joking*

It's gonna be epic.

Hoping for Nuclear Family as the opener, and Dirty Rotten Bastards in there somewhere. I'd rather they kept most of the DOS songs out, but doubt that'll happen. Hoping for a few of the breakdown songs, plus the idiot classics and some of the usual suspects.

Not strictly for this, but I'm wondering if next year we'll get a pure Dookie/Idiot tour as it's 20/10 years respectively

I hope they play A Little Boy Named Train often. Looking forward to a live version of that song, it has so much energy!

I honestly want to hear a bunch of hits and classics. I don't know really, I mean I'd love to hear some lesser known songs, but who doesn't love singing and dancing along to a song like Basket Case, that the whole auditorium knows every word to? I think it'd just create a really good atmosphere. Although, I'm really hoping for East Jesus Nowhere, Jesus of Suburbia or anything from AI 1039SOSH, Kerplunk oh gosh, can they just play their entire discography?

I'm hoping they keep the acoustic encore. I loved that they added it on during the 21CB tour.

Agree. New songs like The Forgotten, Fell For You or Sweet 16 could fit perfectly in that encore.

I would've put Brutal Love as an option, but that song DESERVES a full band version.

I hope they still bring people up to sing. As long as Jesus of Suburbia is still on the setlist I will be happy.

So, are they really changing this tour name to "99 Revolutions Tour?" The Pittsburgh concert venue just changed its Facebook event image (or maybe I just noticed it) to say "99 Revolutions Tour."

Hmm, when Wolstein posted their show, they had this image:

And that was before Best Coast was confirmed, so I guess this would be newer.

Not sure how I feel about the name. Occupy references aren't exactly the most relevant.

I'm really hoping for a complete set list transformation with all new songs they never played live, but of course they have to play the hits, though I'd be fucking THRILLED if BOBD was 86'ed for good and nothing else :P

I'm thinking Brutal Love would be a fucking awesome way to start the shows off. Something about it is really epic and the way it builds up would be fantastic

How about BOBD 86'd for 86? ;) (Seriously, though, 86 is woefully underrated.)

It seems totally random. Like, it's not even a single... is it? I mean, I guess it's better than the Oh Love tour.

I like 86 a lot but I always liked Westbound Sign better.
