The bass solo is killer but if Mike can play the "Stuck With Me" solo awesome, there's not reason he can't play that. Plus i rate Billie and Jason enough to play that little shred too

There are just so many better songs off the trilogy that need to be played. There have to be sacrifices somewhere! I'm personally upset about Amanda -- such a good one!

nothing_wrong_with_me Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 It would be really awesome if they played DRB but it's a long song so they probably would have to stop playing Jesus of Suburbia because I don't think they would like to play two long songs. I love both songs so I'm happy they play JOS, but it would be amazing if they change it at some shows and play DRB instead.

I remember us freaking out about songs like Christie Road or Going To Pasalacqua being played because their last performance had been about 10 years ago. But everyone has heard these songs in the meantime. Sure, they're adding a Brat or an Only Of You every here and then but what about the songs 95% of the audience hasn't heard so far? I Was There, Dry Ice, Worry Rock, Westbound Sign, Private Ale, Deadbeat Holiday etc. That would be pretty amazing!

I agree with the person above me, it worked before, but not so much now. Yeah, I'm definitely excited to hear Brat or Only Of You, it feels more like pandering than an honest desire to play the old stuff like on the 21st tour. They have 37 new songs, as well tons of old ones (including hits) they never play, and this is the 99 Revolutions Trilogy tour. For the most part, they're playing the same setlist they played 2, 3, 4 years ago. I saw them in Pomona in early March, and have tickets to see them in LA on the 18th, and I really don't want to see the same songs in the exact same order that I saw a month prior. So honestly, I'm not expecting much from the April date. I will go, have a great time, and appreciate the fact that Green Day is still playing live. But I kind of feel like we might not ever get to hear most of the Trilogy live.

Especially since they'll be like right up the street from Gilman, where they first started. Maybe they'll even play Kerplunk or Dookie in full! XD LOL MY inner fanboy-ism!!!!
