Tommy's Tonsils Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I desperately do not want to hear Fuck Time or Makeout Party on this tour.
tdlyon Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I desperately do not want to hear Fuck Time or Makeout Party on this tour. Have a feeling Fuck Time will be played at every show and Makeout Party on some. Don't mind this, they both seem really fun live, especially Makeout Party.
Tommy's Tonsils Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Have a feeling Fuck Time will be played at every show and Makeout Party on some. Don't mind this, they both seem really fun live, especially Makeout Party. I wouldn't be surprised. Overall I just wasn't the biggest fan of ¡Dos! (although Amy and See You Tonight and Stray Heart are all really great). I'd be pretty into hearing most of ¡Tré! and a significant amount of ¡Uno! though. But honestly, I'm happy as long as they play whatever makes them the most comfortable and whatever they have the most fun playing.
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I just thought to myself that it could be a thing if everybody painted pink crosses on their eyes at the shows, like warpaint... gay warpaint. I'd be surprised if somebody hasn't come up with this already. Now I want to do this. And no, it will be the manliest, most punk thing you'll ever see!
scottrowan200 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 they defo NEED a better stage set up for the large stadium shows ..... we all know they lost money on 21CB tour .. even some simple back drops u think they should have called the tour the uni dos tre tour part 1 - uno album cover as a Back drop play some uni track PART 2 - Dos album back drop# play some dos tracks Part 3 - Tre cover Tre Songs then back drop could be like international superhits and play the old stuff
DannyDirnt Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 we all know they lost money on 21CB tour Don't think so, they sold the tickets very well.

No they didn't lose money, the 21stCB World Tour as successful as fuck, wasn't every single show sold out? And using the trilogy album covers and the International Superhits album cover (wtf) as backdrops sounds horrible
SuperXCsabre495 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Do you guys think the setlist will change once the arena shows start? I really want to hear DRB live and Billie did say its an arena song so I hope they play it once the arena shows start
Iain Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I think the setlist will change as time flies on. I'm going to NY and my GAHD I'm hoping for DRB so bad. Seriously, if they play that, I may just suffer a fangasm. Now that is a word I hope to never use again.
HolyHandGrenade Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Do you guys think the setlist will change once the arena shows start? I really want to hear DRB live and Billie did say its an arena song so I hope they play it once the arena shows start Yes, I think it's a certainty. Everyone has been upset lately that they're still playing the old standbys for the smaller shows, but I don't blame them for choosing the songs Billie is most comfortable with. Now that he's gotten back in a rhythm, they should be ready for whatever set list they have planned.
Jessica Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I desperately do not want to hear Fuck Time or Makeout Party on this tour. Are you kidding me? Those are the two I've been looking forward to MOST. I'm also crossing my fingers for Lady Cobra. That being said, I find Dos quite holy.
DannyDirnt Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I just hope they'll play many more trilogy songs when they come to the BBK Festival. I'd love them to play Kill the DJ or Wow! That's Loud.
LisaBJA Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I hope that Billie Joe also uses in Milan the toilet paper and t-shirt cannon and the water gun
Lady Darkling Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I don't think they should do the entire trilogy. Just a selected handful. And after that I do fully expect that they will do old songs like the 21CB tour. But I still think it will be wonderful no matter what songs they play.
The Green One Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Well, I'm gonna see them at a festival (Pinkpop), so I don't think they'll play that many trilogy songs when I see them. It'll probably be about as many as they played in Tricky Falls. Hell, I bet the festival setlists are probably gonna be pretty much identical to it, plus the added acoustic encore and maybe 2 trilogy songs instead of songs like Burnout, Brat or Dissappearing Boy. I would die if I heard DRB live though. It's so damn good.
21 guns Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I don't mind if they mix the sets up a bit, but in my mind there are a few songs that I would be really bummed if they cut: When I come around, minority and brain stew. The energy when those songs get played is just incredible. I hope they still do the confetti thing, that way pretty awesome last time around. A few covers would be awesome, aside from the medley they usually do. A bit of ramones/clash/the jam would be cool. This one is a little weird, but I love it when they use a huge sheet/banner just saying 'green day' as their backdrop rather than all the screens. just looks awesome. I HOPE BILLIE WEARS A T SHIRT. It makes all the difference to the vibe of the concert and I don't know why.
Margo 39 smooth Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Have fans been singing longview on the tour so far? sorry I'm a bit behind
gdav89 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Have fans been singing longview on the tour so far? sorry I'm a bit behind Yes! At least in Austin (March 15th) they invited one fan on stage Here you have the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8SqiNNd3Z8U
SuperXCsabre495 Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Is Minority he only song they remember off of Warning? Honestly i would love to hear more from that album
DannyDirnt Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 Okay, they should totally stop doing that with Longview. I get it's fun for fans, but only for the one who's singing. I mean, I'm paying to hear Billie sing, not a random person from the crowd.
TheOneIWant Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 I'll be happy as long as they play When I Come Around. It's my all time favorite song and they didn't play it when I saw them on the American Idiot tour.
