nothing_wrong_with_me Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 It would be so cool if Billie played The Forgotten on the piano.. but I don't think it will happen. I just would love to see him play piano live.
Sarahnade Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 The two trilogy tracks I'm dying to hear are Wow! That's Loud and Brutal Love, but to be honest, I'm just happy I'm going.
billiejoephil Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 If I go to see them, all I'm hoping for being realistical is Let Yourself Go, Stay The Night, Wow! That's Loud, Lady Cobra, Going to Pasalacqua, Boulevard of Broken Dreams and Murder City. I'd also love it if they played The Forgotten. Lady Cobra is far from being realistic.
StPaul Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 My sort of Dream line up and what I kinda think it will roughly be like. 1) Nuclear Family 2) Lady Cobra 3) Let Yourself Go 4) Holiday 5) A Little Boy Named Train 6) Fuck Time 7) Longview 8) Hitchin' A Ride 9) X-Kid 10) Redundant 11) Stay the Night 12) The Judge's Daughter 13) Basket Case 14) Welcome to Paradise 15) Jesus of Suburbia 16) 8th Avenue Serenade 17) Hold On or Misery 18) Drama Queen 19) Warning 20) One For The Razorbacks 21) Platypus 22) Stop When The Red Lights Flash 23) Carpe Diem 24) Stuart and the Ave. 25) Boulevard of Broken Dreams 26) Oh Love 27) When I Come Around 28) King For A Day/Shout 29) 21 Guns 30) Wake Me up When September Ends 31) 99 Revolutions Encore 1 32) Dirty Rotten Bastards 33) American Idiot 34) Minority 35) Brutal Love 36) The Forgotten Encore 2 (Acoustic) 37) Amy 38) Last Night On Earth 39) Good Riddance
Guest Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Lady Cobra is far from being realistic. I'd say it's pretty realistic. It's an awesome song & would make an epic performance. On the other hand, however Nightlife is the one I'd love to hear but has zero chance of being played

It 's just a feeling, and they usually never let me down! Btw, I hope that those 2 shows they played were exceptions with regard to the encore. I really want Billie Joe to close most shows in future with 3-4 acoustic songs. That is just an absolute highlight of every Green Day show. Good Riddance ftw!

I'm just hoping for Waiting, Nightlife & maybe [but unlikely] some of their lesser known songs like Too Much Too Soon. That'd be epic. Definitely agree on the acoustics though. The calm after the storm is the best way to describe it & it's the perfect ending to their shows.
alexgrogan Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I'm seeing them on April 1st in Rochester. The only song off the trilogy that I care to hear is 8th Avenue Seranade. There's just something about it that catches my ear everytime I hear it.

The calm after the storm is the best way to describe it & it's the perfect ending to their shows. Absolutely agree with you on that. One of my biggest Green Day dreams is that they'll play Favorite Son someday. I just love the energy of that track and think it would do really well to pump up the crowd. Really really need to hear X-KID live Mother. Fucking. THIS!
iScottie Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 When and IF they play DRB, I want BJA to first say "I said YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH" and then have the crowd say it, too. Then after doing that twice, Tre counts 1, 2, 3, 4 and they begin.
LisaBJA Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 kinda disappointing that they dont play many new songs :/ I think that they will change their setlist during the tour, because these were warm-up shows
DannyDirnt Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Lady Cobra is far from being realistic. They've played Lady Cobra at least twice already, man.
Sarahnade Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I think they should play Nightlife and get someone on stage to do Lady Cobra's bits. How's that for audience participation?
The Grohl Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I think they should play Nightlife and get someone on stage to do Lady Cobra's bits. How's that for audience participation? I like this idea a lot!
Annie, get your gun Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I expect Brutal Love acoustic, electric, whole band; whatever the way they want to play it, but I'd really love to hear that I hope it happens at some point!
Tommy's Tonsils Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 My expectation for the tour is that people will take their cell phones out of the air and put them away so I can actually see the band. Oh wait, this isn't an expectation, this is a dream
The Grohl Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 My expectation for the tour is that people will take their cell phones out of the air and put them away so I can actually see the band. Oh wait, this isn't an expectation, this is a dream I never understood trying to get footage especially if you're in the pit. You always get shoved so it always turns out like shit. Maybe if you're in seats that's better, but not when you're in GA
iScottie Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Question about the tour in regards to the early entry via Idiot Nation. I purchased my tickets via Ticketmaster to two shows with the promo codes that I received via e-mail for being an Idiot member. Am I granted early entry or no? How would I go about getting an early entry pass?

iScottie Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I think they should play Nightlife and get someone on stage to do Lady Cobra's bits. How's that for audience participation? Or just get Lady Cobra to come out and sing her part
andrearosef Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 My totally not realistic dreamy setlist: Welcome To Paradise Stop When The Red Lights Flash Let Yourself Go Makeout Party Wow Thats Loud Holiday St Jimmy Jesus of Suburbia American Idiot Brainstew Jaded Trouble Maker Lady Cobra She 2000 Light Years Paper Lanterns Longview Blood Sex & Booze FOD then end with Lazy Bones. Guest Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I think they should play Nightlife and get someone on stage to do Lady Cobra's bits. How's that for audience participation? I've already learnt all of Lady Cobras parts just in case this happens
LazyPhil Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 I've already learnt all of Lady Cobras parts just in case this happens And I played it live with my band
