I ordered it only once, I'm hoping it went through since I did get an order confirmation number? *fingers crossed*

I got a conformation too then it said it was sold out hours later. :/ I hope you get yours!

Maybe we should try re-ordering?

Well, the yellow edition isn't much good to me now. I got tired of waiting for it after my local Hot Topic said they didn't have it, so I just drove down to the local record store near my school and got the standard black edition. There's no point in me getting all the colored Trilogy vinyls now if I already have the standard editions. =\

A similar issue occurred with the other vinyls too. I don't get how they are fucking this up so bad.

For some strange reason they only pressed 1,000 yellow editions instead of 1,500 that ¡Uno! and ¡Dos! had

I just ordered it and got a confirmation email of my order. Haven't gotten anything about sold out.

I ordered it at 4:00 PM. At 7:00, I got an email saying that it sold out and my order was refunded.

You might get an email in the next couple of hours saying that it sold out.....

I'm 300 percent pissed. I ordered mine right when they became in stock online, and they just emailed me saying its sold out. Now I'm gonna have an incomplete set. Fuck hot topic.

Yeah, because it's totally their fault.

Yeah, because it's totally their fault.

It is when their website is fucking up.

Yeah, because it's totally their fault.

Well it's their exclusive item on their website run by their employees who manage their stock >_> not to be rude, but it can't really be anyone else fault.

I ordered and haven't received anything about being sold out yet, I'll keep you all posted as well.

To finish, this trilogy has had the worst luck in every aspect. For these vinyl releases from Hot Topic there have been website issues left and right. It's ridiculous, and a simple explanation would more than calm me.

I wish these vinyls weren't so expensive. I'm so used to buying used ones from the 60's and 70's that are like 5 bucks.

Hey guys,
I am a long time lurker, rarely if ever post but I've had a burning question that I haven't been able to find an answer to.

First of all, I live in Oregon and my local hottopic didn't have Nimrod, Dos or Tre, so I am kinda bummed about that. I would have loved to find the colored versions of all three records locally.

My question though is does anyone know if there has been a reprint of the Dos vinyl with Stray Heart instead of Drama Queen?

Posted

Nope. I imagine at some point therell be a press w the correct tracklisting but not yet

Posted

it says it is in stock when i clicked the link. maybe they fixed it again?

I've seen pictures of the Tre vinyl, and it lists Drama Queen on the back...

Can anyone with a copy of the Tre LP confirm this? The copies I've seen are the regular black pressings.

You're comparing apples and oranges.

Of course a sealed, limited edition release from a retail chain like Hot Topic is going to cost more than a used, mass-produced album from your local record store.

What are they, like $20-25, thats pretty much standard for all sealed, major label vinyl. In fact, if you adjust for inflation, $5.99 (a relatively common price for a single LP in the 70s) in 1975 dollars works out to almost $26 and change in 2013 dollars, so the prices have stayed pretty much the same over the years

The ht pressing is the same as the black pressing

I'm going to call Hot Topic Customer Service and ask what is going on with the "sold out" message.

It is very likely that you will get an email in the next couple of hours saying it sold out and you were refunded.

When you place your order, it says in stock. It doesn't give any info on the "sold out" thing.....

Just got off the phone with customer service.

The guy didn't know anything. He just said it was sold out.

I have a feeling that someone bought almost all of them and is going to re-sell them.

It's weird that it doesn't say it's sold out when you go to order it though. And I wonder why it's marked down to 16.49 now? Especially if it's supposedly sold out?

It is marked down because everything on the entire site is 25 percent off

Posted

It now says "sold out" on the website

This is fucking ridiculous. What did they do, void everyone's orders from yesterday, lower the price and then put them on sale again?
