US rescheduled tour dates, Ticketmaster cancellation claims, and messages from venues

i'm like praying the dates will be in the summer. i bought tickets to four shows, two of which are road trips for me. it worked out because they were RIGHT before the spring semester started, so if they're during the semester that's one to two shows i'll have to get refunded or miss classes for. plus the 2010 summer tour was AMAZING.

ugh i just want dates.

Sorry, but it won't be in the summer. They already have a full fledged European summer tour scheduled.

I'm just excited to hear news about it because I have never had a concert postponed/canceled. I was unsure what was gonna happen with it. I'm patient enough to wait for the dates though.

The Idiot Club may be "official", but this place is better for news. I wouldn't have known about this otherwise. I don't pay attention to IC anymore. Now that I hear they put this exciting post up just to take it down makes me want to pay attention to them even less.

I just want new dates and I want them to reschedule all the canceled concerts. They can't just not come to those cities on this tour, right?! Would they just skip them like that? And then all the fans who's concerts were canceled won't ever get to see Green Day live again until the next tour? Surely they wouldn't do that. :sad: Of course I'm okay with them canceling those concerts for Billie to get better - that was absolutely necessary and I'm glad they did it - but I expected them to reschedule those shows for sometime during this tour.

I'm only guessing but the hope is they will reschedule all of the postponed dates in roughly the same order (providing the venues can fit them in), i reckon it will be for late 2013. i'm sure the original list was only part 1 of the USA tour and places like Texas will get some dates later,

Of course they'll do another leg. It's taking so long because these are all pretty high-popularity arenas and it's difficult to reschedule so many shows in an order that isn't completely ridiculous (e.g. playing in the west one day, then going east, then going back west). I understand why it's taking so long, but I'm still pissed too
