US rescheduled tour dates, Ticketmaster cancellation claims, and messages from venues

No, it hasn't yet. For some reason LiveNation's website shows that, but neither Ticketmaster nor the i wireless center website show that. They just show that it is postponed still.

I'm hoping Livenation is just on crack or something.

I agree that this is clearly a work in progress and the information we are getting is being leaked. It isn't finalized yet. I think it is a bit pointless to freak out about cancelled dates until the band says something. They likely just switched venues or something and it will all work out just fine.

Per the Liacouras Center's General Manager:

"Thank you for your patience. We expect an announcement shortly after the New Year."

I'm really happy for all you guys who are getting all these rescheduled shows, but now i'm depressed. I wasn't able to see them on the 21st Century Breakdown tour because the tickets were all sold out when I tried to buy them...now I was finally able to get tickets in September for NH to finally for the first time see them, and they just cancel the show and continue to just destroy me mentally and emotionally. Not to mention this whole ticketmaster, idiot club, P.R. clusterfuck going on currently. Plus the show in Portland Maine was cancelled as well. The only two shows I had a chance of going to. And I had to scrounge up all this money to get tickets for like 2 months. Great.

^ Don't get too bummed out yet. They may just be rescheduling a show near you in a different venue, or needed to cancel out the first show to schedule a new one at the same venue at a later date. I'm sure it will work out! I'd hate for people to get really upset when we don't even have any official information yet.

I'm hoping so, I really am. But I don't know! I just want somebody to release some official information because now it has been left up to us fans to email venues, check ticketmaster, this forum post, etc. just to find information that may or may not be accurate. It is killing me slowly inside. XP

me too :/ my show was canceled as well and it was going to be my very first Green Day show. I am positive that after the new year it will be figured out!

Emailed the GM of the Wolstein center for the Cleveland show and got this back

Hi Zach. Right now we are looking at a new date the last week of march or

first week in April.

I'm not sure if they are being disorganized. I'm sure it's hard to plan a

rescheduled tour when you aren't sure when your singer is going to be

healthy enough to tour. I'm sure they are frustrated too.

As soon as we lock in the date we will tell the media and put it on our

website. Hang in there. Should be a great show!

I think that's because the venue or someone else is selling the tickets and not Ticketmaster.

Edit: I just checked the venue's website and you do purchase tickets from there.
