kate_ochoxx Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Sources? Please? Because if this is true and my first ever Green Day show is cancelled I am going to set fire to an orphanage. if its true its on the website or ticketmaster edit: the venues website
BillieMyIdol1996 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 So were pretty sure that the Brooklyn show is canceled because on Ticketmaster and the Barclays center website it still says its on?
Four. Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 So were pretty sure that the Brooklyn show is canceled because on Ticketmaster and the Barclays center website it still says its on? you make no sense.
sallysimpson Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 So were pretty sure that the Brooklyn show is canceled because on Ticketmaster and the Barclays center website it still says its on? Not canceled -- not yet anyway -- just postponed. The Barclays Center says it's postponed. Ticketmaster retains the Jan 16 date and is selling tickets. Nothing's been scheduled at the Barclays Center on the 16th at this point. I work at Barclays and nothing's shown up on our intranet either.
Marrymebilliejoe Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 There is only one answer to why the tour dates are all messed up... I kid..I kid..just trying to break up the frustration/confusion about these tour dates :/
rback57 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 So, basically, we are all really confused and freaking out because Ticketmaster is posting new dates for some concerts, cancelling some concerts, and doing nothing with some concerts? And there has been no announcement about any of this? Oh my. People need to get their shit together. But I'd say, for now, people should just relax and be patient until something concrete comes out. That's what I'm (trying) to do. My first ever GD concert was gonna be in Madison...
stories and songs Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I'm not at all concerned about them canceling concerts. It isn't as though the concert was going to be on the date it was originally scheduled for anyways. Ticketmaster likely just has to cancel the original date out to reschedule a new date or something. Either that, or they had to switch to a close-by but different venue in that city. No biggie! This is so exciting! I had just about given up hope for a tour any time before the fall. This is awesome, awesome news.
desertrose Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Thank you :) I wonder why the Providence show is the only one with a new official date??? I checked Ticketmaster, looks like Vegas is still TBA for me........ Yes, I checked on that too. Hopefully not one that will be cancelled.
Lindsay Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Crossing my fingers and toes that either the Rochester or Toronto show will be rescheduled to sometime during the Easter long weekend so I can potentially go if I can get my hands on a ticket.
Forever Now Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Still waiting on the new Pittsburgh Date... I was 5 ROWS AWAY FRO BILLIE, I really hope I still have the same seats!!! Since the venue says postponed you will still have the same tickets you bought.
TheNimrod51 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Emailed the GM of the Wolstein center for the Cleveland show and got this back Hi Zach. Right now we are looking at a new date the last week of march or first week in April. I'm not sure if they are being disorganized. I'm sure it's hard to plan a rescheduled tour when you aren't sure when your singer is going to be healthy enough to tour. I'm sure they are frustrated too. As soon as we lock in the date we will tell the media and put it on our website. Hang in there. Should be a great show! Scott Warren General Manager Wolstein Center Pretty awesome if you ask me!
GZUSofSuburbia Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 This is still shit. The only 2 shows i could possibly go to have been "cancelled" and they havent even announced anything. Im going soley on what ticketmaster, because there has been little to no official information put out, and nothing is concrete. This is getting to be rediculous, I don't even know what to think anymore.
maurokanvaz Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Anyone knows if it is going to be a new tour date list or is it just the postponed shows because if it is not new dates I don't give a fuck anymore.

That was a really classy and understanding response. Given that response, the April 9th date, and the random now disappeared Idiot Club update about the tour, I feel like it is safe to say that we are most definitely looking at a March/April tour with the official dates coming really soon. It is a bit confusing, but it is starting to look like the tour is coming together.

Jet Taman Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Where in or around Philly were they supposed to play on Jan 22nd? I bought tickets but lost my email and can't find where they were supposed to be! I emailed AND called artistarena (where I bought the tix through IC Pre-sale) and haven't heard back. Any help??
stories and songs Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 ^ I'm going to that show too - it was at the Liacouras Center. Per the arena's website, it says that the date has been postponed to a date in the spring and they're offering refunds if anyone wants them.
The Forgotten Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I would email the Air Canada Center but I think there's about a 0.1% chance I would get a personnel answer from the general manager
Todd Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 My Rochester show has not been cancelled. Yet.... Don't jinx it for us!!!!!
AndrewW91 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I just e-mailed the I Wireless Center about the Moline Show... God, I hope it's not really cancelled.
Cori Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 I just e-mailed the I Wireless Center about the Moline Show... God, I hope it's not really cancelled. The Moline show hasn't been cancelled, though. In any case, could you let us know what they say? I'm supposed to go to that one, too.
AndrewW91 Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 It's listed as cancelled on the Livenation website.http://www.livenation.com/artists/49881/green-day
Cori Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 It's listed as cancelled on the Livenation website.http://www.livenation.com/artists/49881/green-day The venue's official website and Ticketmaster both still show it as being postponed, though.
Tommy's Tonsils Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Does anyone know yet if there will be options to buy other tickets for those of us whose shows were canceled? I keep seeing people talking about buying tickets and I'm not sure if y'all are buying from Stub Hub or if there are tickets available somewhere legitimately...
