I think X-Kid may be one of the best songs they have written, instantly one of my new all time favorite songs, fuck

I'm not sure I'd say it's one of the best songs they've ever written, but it surely is my favorite song off the album.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like Brutal Love at all?

Agreed. Amanda is on the same level as Sweet 16... Doesn't add much to the record.

My expectation was high on Amanda. Enjoyable track though...

Dirty Rotten Bastards seems fun but it was not worth a 7 mins. It's not JoS.

People really need to stop comparing DRB to JoS. It's a completely different kind of song. It's a far more lighthearted song that showcases the guys' abilities. JoS was a far more emotional animal for Billie to create.

Brutal Love reminds me of a country song. Haha. I like Brutal Love, but it's not really that much "Glam-rocky" as it was said to be.

No you're not. Hopefully it'll grow on me.

From what I've seen, you haven't like anything off Tré

Amanda was so good live! I don't know how they butchered it in studio version. Some weird affect on vocal and guitar could have been so much better. also the new lyrics dont stick out as much as the live version.

Guys, I just thought of this, but what if BJ is out of rehab and is done with green day?

I mean it's been awhile.

What if he just can't handle it?

It's not JoS but it's so fucking good and absolutely an arena song and it's unfair to compare these two songs anyway...JoS is legendary song man...:)

Actually 6 mins. Sorry for stretching the mark. 4 mins it would've been my favorite track.

Honestly, I thought the album was disappointing.

Missing You; 8th Avenue Serenade; X-Kid; Sex, Drugs, And Violence; A Little Boy Named Train; Dirty Rotten Bastards; and 99 Revolutions were the only good songs. The other 5 I really just don't like. Or I do, just definitely not as much as those listed.

Also I think the hype for ¡Tre! was not met. I expected a lot from this album, which was said to be "epic" out of the 3 in total.

But that's just what I think. I like it, I just think the other 2 are a lot better.

I'm pretty sure I would've enjoyed it a lot more if it wasn't so long. After the 4 min. mark I just want it to be over.

Thought I heard it. I like how it's been used in every cd.

Hmmm... I love TRE, but DOS is still my all time favorite.

I reaally like the off key sound in the intro to Dirty Rotten Bastards and Brutal Love REALLY caught me off guard... So amazing.

The Forgotten is beautiful...

X-Kid, Missing You, 8th Avenue Serenade are in my favorites. I just wish the counting was adding in the studio version. :sorry:

I still need to listen to the rest again, the only ones that I got to actually listen to fully are the ones I mentioned. So far my liking towards TRE is okay.

On the other hand....

Here's my tracklist if we had one album instead !

2.8th Avenue Serenade

3.Carpe Diem

4.Stop When The Red Lights Flash

The Forgotten, i admit, is a really nice ballad. Nice closer. For the first while i just dismissed it as the obligatory serious sweeping ballad to make a single and show to the masses but no. Hearing it at the end of Tré is beautiful.

Walk Away its growing on me.
