I know they have been accused of ripping off songs before and never paid attention that much.

It's just that A LOT of songs from the trilogy sounds exactly like older Green Day or other artists songs.

Maybe it's just me too but I think it was inevitable, like movies, everything has already been written.

somebody needs to watch more Vsauce https://www.youtube....h?v=DAcjV60RnRw

I am very appreciative of the iQuatro! clips. Thank you for sharing.

If you pause when all the lyric pages flash up, you can see the lyrics to the song playing during the credits.

I'd upload a picture, but I'm too lazy ._.

I wonder what song that is? Maybe it's another segment of Dirty Rotten Bastards (both are in Fmajor).

Totally off-topic, but I would like to thank Tman684 for giving me my 400th rep :D That 399 at the top was taunting me for days :P

A few of them is already on youtube, some didn't make it to the trilogy at all and will probably never be heard unless there is a new Shenanigans or a huge Bside album.

Olivia comes from the C&V sessions so I wouldn't consider that one of these missing songs. I do think it's interesting that in addition to "teenage blue" (aka, Angel Blue), there is also a "baby blue" written on the board. Perhaps that later became "baby eyes".

Minnesota Girl has nothing to do with the trilogy; it's at least 10 years old at this point.

Based on what we have heard from the trilogy so far, and what we have heard of the listed songs, it would seem that none of the others made it to the final lineup.

I think we all know what needs to happen.

Olivia needs to be recorded.

I'd settle for a quality live recording, myself. Don't need a studio version.

Finally got around to watching the HD rip, just finished and it blew me away!

Was not expecting to see as much studio footage as there was (and this was only the 45 minute TV edit), and I was expecting most of the studio footage to have the final mix of the song playing over the video. This appeared the be the case every now and then, but was surprised at how much studio audio we got to hear!

It was also awesome seeing the live performances at Red 7 and Tiki :D

Exceeded my expectations, and whoever did the editing for the live shows gets major props from me! Awesome As Fuck was atrocious with it's camera cuts every second and the awful filters they applied to the video. Bullet in a Bible was a bit better, but Quatro does it best, these are how Green Day's live performances deserve to be shot.

Absolutely cannot wait for the full version to be released in January. I'm assuming there will be a blu-ray release down the road, otherwise why go through the trouble of shooting in HD.

Wow Loss of Control is miles better live! What I would give to have the complete recordings of Tiki Bar, Webster Hall, or Red7...

Agreed! Those shows were pretty unique. What other "arena-circuit" band in recent memory have booked that many consecutive club shows and played 16-17 new songs that no one would be familiar with?! You get a completely different vibe in those videos, the crowd is not singing, they're not going wild, they're paying attention and listening! It's awesome!

I would love to see a complete recording of any of those club gigs!

They must have recorded the majority of each show just to have enough footage to sift through after.

I have just one n00bish question. Was the 40 minute thing on vh1 the whole thing?

I watched it yesterday and it blew me away.

I loved seeing them working on the record and talking about their feelings about it and stuff, it was great. Can't wait for the whole thing.

The highlights were when tre was dressed in this plant or whatever thingy and drove around and scared people, I laughed so hard. I also loved when MIke said he was gonna hit someone with his bass if they scream Christie Road one more time.

Just listened to the extended Quatro preview of X-Kid on GDA, and all I have to say is wow. I've never been sold on the preview bandwagon, and when Lazy Bones was released as a preview I thought people who said it was "the best of the trilogy" were being absolutely ridiculous. But this, THIS, is something special. Yet again I find Green Day blowing me away and leaving me feeling chills and sensations that I've never felt before, and I know that the full song will not disappoint me. I cannot wait for the 11th even more now, if that is even possible.

Incredible. Simply incredible.
