Marlee Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Watched this on my phone while waiting for a lecture class to start. It freaked out everyone around me.
That Dude Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Has anyone else noticed the record that the girl has in the video that's not a Green Day vinyl. It says "The Scrap - Be Told" on the front and has a black and white cover. I tried looking this up but couldn't find any info. Does anyone know if this is a real band, extremely unknown band, or totally made up for the video? After having no luck finding it my first thought was "new side project", although I know at this point that would be unlikely.

I noticed that, but thought it was just a random band they liked. But yeah, I can't find it anywhere either.
¡Ricky! Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I want a HD version I think it was uploaded in HD in the Official Green Day YouTube Channel this afternoon... but now it's private or it was deleted... O.o I think this was the video:
XXXNoOneKnowsXXX Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 what about a guy with a heart for a face looks like billie joe? haha the height... oh snap. i wish it was him, that would have been hilariously perfect i really liked the video. Hearts freak me our but that little guy was kinda cute somehow, like a mischievous little buddy. The clothes of the heart is similar to the clothes what uses Billie haha
Lindsay Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Really liked this video and the storyline behind it. Glad we got a video that's something other than just the band performing!
The Grohl Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I fucking love this video and song! I was just smiling the entire time I was watching it! This makes me so damn excited for DOS! The video is just super cool and has a nice little story going on and it kind of stinks that Green Day isn't in it themselves, but the video is great on it's own. I dunno it just seems so different for the band and I freaking love it! Nice Green Day!! I love it! Also, was I the only one who wanted all that Green Day vinyl in the vid?
Chelsea831 Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I really enjoyed the video. Definitely my favorite of the trilogy so far. Liked the literal interpretation of it too. Still undecided on whether the band should have been featured though. I can see why people liked it without them, but still feel they could have been somewhere in the background or incorporated as extras. Either way, I loved it.

I just looked it up on Spotify and found a band called The Scrap. http://thescrap.band...bum/brainless-2 I wasn't able to find anything about an album called 'Be Told', though. Interesting...
alecandstuff Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 This video seems MUCH better directed and thought out (even though I loved "Oh Love") and I love this. My only question, where are the people who were invited to be part of the video?

Interesting... Another Side Project ?! Nahh, just kidding. Maybe it's just a fake vinyl that they created just for the video !
christinas-inferno Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 This might be one of my favorites from them, it was great! It had a really nice storyline to it The little heart guy was the best part
The Snark Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Another Side Project ?! Nahh, just kidding. Maybe it's just a fake vinyl that they created just for the video ! B-sides perhaps? Yeah, I think it's a fake. Or something that hasn't been released yet.
norcalgreendayfan Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 I really liked the stray heart video, a job well done on it i say and what i the one that thought the little heart reminded them of Billie?
Daughter.of.Rage.and.Love Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 can we make the official name of the guy be Womanizing Jerk? Just like we call the dude from the JoS video Jesus of Suburbia or Jimmy (I've seen both) and then it'll be a thing that whenever someone speaks of Womanizing Jerk everyone knows who they're talking about and that'd be great.
Yojimbo Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Kinda funny that the first single from UNO ends with the line "Tonight my heart's on the loose" and this video shows a heart that is literally on the loose. Somebody knows the name of the blonde girl?? The main one's name is Leven Rambin.
Milo Goes To Pasalacqua Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Weirdest shit i have ever seen. And i totally loved it.
sampy Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Might be the only time when I've laughed so much when watching a music video! This video is great! So bizarre and funny, but represents the song perfectly. This might be one of my favorite music videos from the band.

Bob2123 Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Are you sure this is official? 'cause it's not the official YouTube channel. Though I'm happy this one's not just Green Day jammin in a random place. It was on the YouTube channel. It got taken down for some reason.
