While trying to stay true to the song I don't want to try too hard to sound like Billie because that would make me feel too much of a wannabe. I really appreciate the honesty. I don't want people to act like they're my mom lol. To change my voice/accent is kinda hard tho. It's who I am. Oh, I didn't by any means want it to come across as me saying to change it in all the songs. In this song in particular, it was just more noticeable, if that makes sense. Not a bad thing, just a little more distracting. Honestly, I forget you have an accent most of the time, seeing as I'm a culturally ignorant American. I didn't really like the trilogy in general Also, one of my absolute favourites of the trilogy is Drama Queen (original and dookiefied) . No one seems to share that opinion. ever. Kind of reminds me of Keith Urban, a country singer my mom is obsessed with. He sings like he's from the southern U.S. but is from Australia. Talks completely different than he sings.
