It's funny how peaople share that view about 21stCB, when in fact it's the best songwriting Billie and the band have done. They really pushed themselves and created the best music. If more people let go of this "classic" or "old school" notion, it would be realized more.

Anyway, yes, I'm also thankful for the fact that you're sharing all this with us! It must have been a really great experience, being in direct communication. Jealous!
