Alan86 Posted October 29, 2012 Posted October 29, 2012 I'm happy enough with that new information regarding the release of Tré. It also makes much more sense to have the DVD coming out after Tré is out. Having the DVD come with Dos always seemed strange to me.

I'm really bummed right now since the show I was looking forward to (my first concert) got cancelled, but I'm a little happy that we get the rest of the songs sooner now, because I was dying at the thought of having to wait until January to hear "Amanda". In regards to those worried about them getting a hit, it will probably be The Forgotten, just because Twilight fans and the public love their ballads.

But as soon as Billie has fully recovered they are determined to blow us away with their world wide tour.

You'll still get the mp3-download on the release date.

Everything is such a clusterfuck with this trilogy... I'm always confused. I got the uno book from the box set on the day of release so maybe...

Of course I'm bummed about the postponement (was gonna see them 1/21), but this has actually made me feel a lot better about it, which is what they were intending I guess. All this means is that we get an amazing album a full month early, and Billie will be perfectly healthy and ready to rock our fucking faces off whenever he's ready. This is good, and I'm happy.

Billie's health is the most important thing. Getting Tre in December and no tour is better than a tour and Billie having to force himself 'too much too soon' (wow, see what I did there) I do feel bad for the US fans though...but they'll be more dates. And Tre two days after my Birthday isn't bad either...

Those of you who ordered the Ultimate Box Set or the Digital Box Set, the digital download will be available at midnight on the 11th. The booklet with CD will be delivered NO LATER than the 18th of December. So no CD from the Box Set order until around the 18th for those who ordered that. Obviously, the CD will be available in stores on the 11th.

Record sales die after Christmas and they probly figured they could get a few more and get this whole thing over with. All promotional matters aside, GET WELL BILLE!

As it was, I think they only charged about £5 shipping, although I guess some of it would have been added into the Box Set cost. Well, I think it's pretty good to listen to Tré earlier. I was ready for Dos! about 2 days after I received Uno!, not because I didn't like it, or was fed up with it, I just really wanted to hear more, especially after the clip from Lazy Bones. I think from a promotional/album sales point of view, a December release date is also much better than January, and coupled with the Twilight release, that can't be a bad thing (although reading some of the posts on GDC, some people think it is).
Elena Posted October 31, 2012 Posted October 31, 2012 In regards to those worried about them getting a hit, it will probably be The Forgotten, just because Twilight fans and the public love their ballads. yeah i think that, too...the movie will probably make the song popular and it's a great ballad in my opinion and the public has always loved GDs ballads ...also the video to it is great and makes the song even better in my opinion, so maybe the video also gives the song a little kick into the charts i really have my hopes up for that song ...though i usually don't care whether any GD songs are in the charts
