I don't know how you get the idea that people don't dare to bash Adrienne. In fact, I've never seen any bashing of Brittney or one of Tre's girlfriends on a Youtube video, but often enough with Adrienne. For example, I recently watched the interview with Norah and Billie and all I see in the top comments is a person going on and on about how Adrienne is maniplulating Billie Joe and the fans and taking cedit she doesn't deserve (and worse).
I actually think Adrienne probably gets the worst of it because her husband, as the frontman of the band, is a bit more in the centre of attention. Back in the American Idiot era, a lot of very young fans hated her because apparently they wanted to be his wife instead

Apart from that, I've never seen any bashing of any of Green Day's other halves being tolerated on this forum. I think it's perfectly right that fans step in when someone does that because it's mobbing people you don't even know. And it does happen to all of them, just maybe not all to the same degree. But that's really not the question. It shouldn't happen at all.

Adrienne is at the same time untouchable and despised. I have seen both behaviors towards her. It's not the same for Britt cause she's often chatting with the fans on IG, it's not the same, idk why.

But it's sure that the GD's wives are either loved, either hated. And no one can do something for that, that's all. But as Sara is known since no long ago, people feel more ''free'' to bash her.

Fans are really complicated to understand and in my opinion, not real fans.

yeah, well not if someone says anything they get repromanded serverely and if you say anything about the other members nothing much seem to happen. Most people dont say a thing about Billies wife while fans feel they can say anything about Mikes wife; Tres Girlfriends; Jasons wife etc etc etc - if you say anything about Adrienne you get ripped to shreds so most people avoid saying anything. There should be equal respect for all the other halves and equal consequences. Why should Adrienne get special treatment? I have to admit I am getting wound up again. I am getting attacked just because I dont think she should get special treatment and stating that all the other halves should get equal levels of respect? I am not going to say anything else. Its sad that I am getting attacked for saying that they all deserve equal level of respect - Britney, Jasons wife, tres Girlfriend, Sara. etc God!

Britney, Jasons Wife and Tres Girlfriend Sara deseve the same leve of respect as Adrienne as they are just as important and loved as her and they shouldnt be any fan approval.

Spastic is actually an offensive word here, it's an outdated term for people with cerebral palsy that turned into a cruel insult against them. It may have lost that meaning in the US but it hasn't here last I checked, I'd certainly never go around saying it and if a UK celebrity said it people would be pissed off. I think it's fairly well known that it's an acceptable slang word in the US and isn't considered offensive there though, it's silly to think Billie means anything bad by it.
