Really good little interview. Zane and Mike answered some questions without making it too personal. Seems like Billie just had to own demons to fight, while at the same time having to deal with the pressures of the 3 albums and exhaustion and whatnot. Found it interesting that they haven't talked in a few weeks, although it's probably for the better.

Love that Mike made it a point to reassure us that they're heading in a good direction and that they'll be back.

Mike basically said that making U, D & T was intense. The last few weeks have been like they have fallen off a speeding train. They have been working so hard and for so long that something had to give. The band and family are right behind Billie, things will sort themselves out. Mike & Tre are taking a rare break from Green Day and each other, making sure they will be raring to go when the time comes.

wow i always liked Stray Heart but it was never one of my favorites actually, but now that i've heard this version i absolutely love it ...i almost cried! ....though i didn't want to listen to anything new from this album, i mean i knew the song already but i didn't want to listen to the studio version to be at least a bit surprised when the album comes out...oh well

I think people are making too much of him not seeing billie; he means since getting home because billie has obviously been having treatment and he seemed genuinely shocked at it himself. But otherwise he sounded positive which is good.
