WrongWayToSalvation Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 But, Jesus of Suburbia IS basically 5 Green Day songs wrapped into one... @ Tman One of the strongest albums ever? That's a hyperbole if I ever heard one lol I guranatee you this whole triolgy will be remembered more from a marketing perspective than the actual albums themselves

I always forget what a hyperbole is
WrongWayToSalvation Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 A hyperbole is an exaggeration. Usually a vast one. English is my favorite and best subject.

Guest MadeInRatCity Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 For me i think DOS will be the best out of 3. Then comes UNO. So TRE lands at last. But the tracklist for tre looks great too. X Kid, Dirty Rotten Bastards, Sex, Drugs & Violence..
Annie, get your gun Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Since when does Tré play the piano?! Maybe since a while... Do you remember the annoying-almost-never-ending piano part from Rock & Roll Girlfriend? He played it but we don't know if it's him on the actual recording.
WrongWayToSalvation Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I didn't even buy iUno! and I have no intention to. (I bought Channel Orange by Frank Ocean, Aqumeni by Outkast, and Treats by Sleigh Bells all for the same price as iUno!). None of the songs really jumped at me, I probably will buy iDos! and iTre! though, I enjoy the songs I've heard from there, iTre! will probably be my favorite because imy favorite types of albums are experimental ones.
PanicAttack! Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I think it's safe to presume this to be the correct tracklist, with the exception of Stray Heart replaced with Drama Queen. I don't think they'd make any further last minute changes, but I guess it's plausible. But this is the core tracklist, and if I'm wrong, I'll eat my copy of Tré.

I'd say that Dos is more of an experimental album than Tre is.
TheJedi Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I don't want to believe any track lists till the official one is released. DOS surprised us with stray heart, so I'm waiting. We know brutal love, 99 revolutions, x-kid, little boy named train, dirty rotten bastards, and the forgotten have all been confirmed in various interviews by the members and rob. 8th avenue serenade, sex drugs and violence, missing you, and Amanda seem pretty likely for the album. That leaves drama queen and walk away as maybes. Didnt Green Day say in an interview that Drama Queen was going to be on Dos? Why would they not have it on any of the albums then? i Know its not on Dos now, but it has to be on Tré
Asa. Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I really hope Drama Queen is on ¡Tré! I love that song so much.

Todd Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I think Tre wil sound like a mix between C&V, AI, and 21CB.
Annie, get your gun Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I think Tre wil sound like a mix between C&V, AI, and 21CB. By "C&V" what are you referring to exactly? I know it's Cigarettes & Valentines, but we only know a song with that title and not an album. Or you mean Money Moeny 2020?
Todd Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Well, we have a good idea of what C&V sounds like judging by the title track and the AI b-sides
Tooooooooooooom Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Think the order may change. Doubt they'd put such a slow song like Drama Queen so early on in the album.
beejeezee Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 For a short time, it also had the song lengths as well. God Billie stop messing with wikipedia.
No Rhyme Or Reason Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Think the order may change. Doubt they'd put such a slow song like Drama Queen so early on in the album. If I'm not mistaken, I think Billie mentioned in some interview that Tré starts with a ballad. Brutal Love is supposed to be a piano-driven ballad with sweeping strings. And the last song, The Forgotten, is also a ballad. I think Tré is just going to have lots of beautiful, reflective ballads.

That's true. But if it's emphatic and elaborate and just leaves you going Wow! then i can understand it. Drama Queen on the other hand is just a nice, simple, understated acoustic number.
Asa. Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 I read Brutal Love is supposed to be a "gospel-tinged" song. Sounds pretty cool!
BradGreenDay Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 I am really happy Stray Heart got moved to DOS.... Stray Heart is more of a party song rather than an Epic song!!!
TheJedi Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Which interview did they say that in? I dont remember. I might be wrong. does anyone remember where Green Day first said that Drama Queen was going to be on one of the albums?
Guest Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 Then i think this album'll be the weakest of the three. Who would want to listen to a 7 mins long green day song? - Not me. I still can't get pass through 9 mins JOS and Homecoming. UNO was pretty weak, but yet it was powerful at the same time... Who knows how amazing the next two will be if UNO was the simple intro to the trilogy. O:
frunsi Posted October 8, 2012 Posted October 8, 2012 tracklist here looks a lot better than the one from dos.
