You must not listen to very many rappers. Look up Nas, or Lupe Fiasco, most specifically Around My Way, Go To Sleep, and Pressure. Or Andre 3000 in A Life In The Day of Benjamin Andre. Those songs go above and beyond.

A lot of them think music is a specific thing, instead of realizing the vastness of its different types and what it can and could be.

Kind of. I had been listening to "Stay The Night" for like two years, so that doesn't count. But then I put all the singles on my iPod as they were released and overplayed them constantly. So I'm not going to do that this time! A few listens, maybe. But not much. I want the album to still seem fresh! So do we know what time this is premiering?
